Name: Abel [Nicknamed Appie]
Name Source: Biblical Mythology
Name Reason: The 2014 LE's had arrived in a package and I just decided to name the Camargue Stallion Kain, for a fully unrelated reason. So, I just looked at this red stallion and went like 'In the biblical verse Kain is the bad brother, but the Cama looks half an angel and this guy looks like a devil' and then Abel just stuck.

Name reason: Achaam is the son of the warclan's chief, so he is a powerful warrior. This model stuck me as very powerful, so the powerful name fitted.

But then I stopped my riding lessons and I was still thinking about him and when I stumbled across this model, I just plastered the name to it.

It is very impressive names - fitting and with a lot of thought behind each.

Just a fact about icelandic horses and names, when you are making such an effort;
When you name icelandic foals it has to be with icelandic names to get the foal registrered in the system, so every icelandic horse has a name from iceland. That sometimes gives some names impossible to pronounce. Maybe an idea for future icelandic horses?

The old English TB model by Schleich is very nice, nice sculpt and interesting details. I think however that his posture and general conformation remind more of Cleveland Bay horse. I mean he is quite a heavy type for a TB. Name "Arthur" suits nicely his elegant dark bay colour
