Brilliant! I started a Cape Buffalo a while back myself, but got busy with other things and stopped working on it. Hopefully you'll inspire me. Can't wait to see more of your sculpture!

Impressive citizen and excellent choice About the frame I think the head should look a little bit downward like in the original pic. It would look more impressive and bulky like that.

Not in your blog yet, I'd love to see more pictures! It is very beautiful and it apparently larger than standard sized cape buffalos from major companies. Are you from Asturias, Basque country or none of them?

It is the largest subspecies of African Buffalo, notably tall in size and ferocity, up to 3.4 meters long. that means that at 1:20 scale should be about 15 cm for head & body.. Why you know I am from the north of Sapin? ..In fact I am from Galicia, although I am not living there now. - Kikimalou wrote:

Oh, so you are from a region that has borders with Portugal and a very similar cultural pattern. I know you are from the North of Spain because you are telling it on your blog. Though, if it was not the ñ, I'd never guess that the name Neñumu was from Spanish origin and that's the reason why I thought in Basque Country or Asturias once less usual names are more common there. |

Oh! that is true! In any case, Neñumu is only a Nickname from my childhood that I only use in Internet, although -in fact- some of my ancestors came from the Basque country.
