Does anyone know about Imperial? It is a company founded by Fred Kurt back in 1969. Fred Kurt was a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp of Worl War II who wanted to bring fun to the world (he died in 2003 and his son took over). Here are two treasures that I own: an American Mastodon released in 1989 and a yellow Unicorn released in 1983.

He was jewish, I know that. Probably German, or Austrian; he was captured by the Nazis back in the 1940's, so he was probably from somewhere in Central Europe. I also have two Chinese Dragons from Imperial: a 1969 soft rubber one and a big latex 1979 one. I will photograph them soon to post them here.

I'll show a picture later. because in the library, I don't have my toys or my camera with me. For now, I will just say it is recognizable by the crown above the name "Imperial". Although, that crown changed with the generation: my 1980'sImperial creatures have an emperor's crown above the brand's name; today, it's a duke's crown.

Thanks Valérie, that's already really helpful Wink Don't worry about the pics, just share them whenever you have time and opportunity Smile

Anyway, I started, this morning, taking new pics of other Imperial creatures I have: a 1985 standing frilled lizard, a 1983 green occidental dragon, a 1969 soft rubber oriental dragon and a colorful 1979 oriental dragon. I took care of photographing each one of them aside a canadian 2$ coin, to give an idea of the size of each animal. Tomorrow, I will photograph my Imperial purple 1983 two-headed occidental dragon, plus more animals of other brands you will see when I post them. Cool

I Wonder why Roger didn't put them on TAI, yet... is it because my pictures are in a wrong angle?

It's actually quite a lot of work to put something on TAi. You have to create new pages with tables for all the information. Besides, you have to add the figurines in a list of the same species as well. A few editors are working very hard to add as much as possible to TAi. I know Roger is working on lots of sections, I'm sure he'll find the time to put your pictures on TAi. But until then, we all have to be a bit patient! cheers

All are now on TAi. Julie is right, there is always a lot of work to do on TAi. I don't remember waiting for work there is always something to do. Species section takes a lot of time too.
Angles of pics are not a problem even some of them are asleep. Sleep I believe you couldn't picture them standing. Very Happy
Do you know the years of the goat and tiger? Very Happy
