The new Puma 50189 from Papo 2016 :-)

This year Papo launched a new puma to replace the no 50046 , which was retired in 2015 after 7 years.
Personally I loved the old one, but I know that some don't much like the pose.

The new kitty is much more traditional, and as most of Papo's cats, she is expertly sculptured .

What a wonderful walkaround, thank you, Susanne! I saw this kitty in the shop last weekend, but I had to make priorities. So I only came home with the 2016 Papo Arctic wolf and fox. I did make some mobile phone pictures of it to persuade Karin to buy it

Priorities are probably our worst enemy!
If it was not it, my decision of getting or not this puma would be surely... yest!
It doesn't seem as exciting as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. That's strange because Papo is better known for their excellent work with wild cats... but that is an outfashioned comment, Papo is good with almost everything.
The old puma, is better in some aspects, cheecks forehad, proportions on upper body, though, the newer is much more consensual, bettter pose, better balance, more attractive design and probably a better appreciated size. Love also the muscled chest, upper limbs, half lifted tail and a pose full of action. Lacks some "felinity, but very beautiful!

Donny, - I think she has dew claws. On pumas they are hard to see, - just a sort of thinkening of the leg over the paw.

You read in my mind rogério, you have very strange capacities

I am myself an old puma supporter, despite or because of his not so weird pose but the newcomer is very charming. I like the way it is walking and surveing the surroundings.

I like all the things of this puma — details (oh that fur!), muscles, pose... except the head. Well, not exactly: details and paintjob are wonderful (I also always liked the way Papo paint eyes), but it's not... puma. I think they lost puma's expression. These cats have a bit shorter and round muzzles and face details at all. By the way, the old one is real puma, I was so glad, when I got mine.
But this one still is in my wishlist
Your comparison photo is amazing — all pumas are so different!

Great new model, SUSANNE! I remember that retired puma model! This new one looks better, though, both in size and pose. Nothing wrong with the older one, but this one just looks more lively. I like that with Papo´s big cat figures. Their tigers look so lively too.

I actually like the old model also, but the new one is an improvement. Lovely cat, big congrats!

Thank you for a beautiful and very detailed walkaround, Susanne! I'm glad to see it is not as small as the old one (although I liked the old one too despite the size) I can't wait to recieve this gorgeous replica.
