Papo 50194 Chimpanzee with Baby: A walkaround by Kikimalou

Except the previous Chimp with baby, I'm not a big fan of Papo chimps. Sometimes a lot of details is only too much details, that's what I think each time I look at the sitting chimp or son. I have a special bias for the Papo 50012 Female Chimpanzee and Baby. I agree she is far to be realistic but I love her colors and her eyes, so simple but full of life.

So, between hope and doubt, I was waiting to watch the 2106 chimp with baby in real. I think hope win the battle this time. I can't say it is the best painting ever but the model convinced me: Good pose,less details but nice ones (look at the hair on the shoulders ). So I asked her if she agreed to come with me for a photosession and she said Yessss

I really like the pose and posture of this figure. It's very nicely sculpted.
But the eyes look weird to me.
They look......I don't know what word I'm looking for. Slanted?
I feel they should be more round like the older figure and it would've been a perfect chimp.

Yes.
Bringing up a baby these days is hard for any mother.
Green jungle or concrete jungle.

I don't know if she smokes or drinks or that
She just works hard for the money.
Either ways, we better treat her right.

I like very much the pose and the way baby is being carried. I love also the Motehrs with baby's picture. Probably this one could be my choice for a female but I am not collecting couples actually. My chimp is the newer Schleich male.

I agree new Schleich chimp is an excellent choice Rogério.

I'm not too much one the couple or family collecting since Family life is a Human concept. Nevertheless I like so much hordes, herds, tribes and clans that I can't resist to add this nice mother.

You're right of course. my supposed interest in collecting both genders is more related with sexual dimorphism what is not so relevant regarding chimps. Though, in some animals, male and female look almost like different species. :)
