The PAPO Mallard duck: A walkaround by Kikimalou

Last year I bought the PAPO female Mallard duck because I thought she was an interesting model. I already have the last SCHLEICH Mallard ducks and I thought then it was enough for me.

One month ago, I crossed the path of the PAPO male mallard duck, it was not the first time but I have then enough time to watch it carefully. A few minutes later, some bucks left my wallets and a duck left the shop

I hope the pics will explain why !

The Mallard or Wild Duck (Anas platyrhynchos) is a dabbling duck which breeds throughout the temperate and subtropical Americas, Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and has been introduced to New Zealand and Australia.
The male birds (drakes) have a glossy green head and are grey on wings and belly, while the females have mainly brown-speckled plumage. Mallards live in wetlands, eat water plants and small animals, and are gregarious. This species is the ancestor of most breeds of domestic ducks. (thanks Wiki)

These mallards are very beautiful! This is a wonderful and known species so it is surprising at all that most brands have them in their range. But Papo mallards are very nice and this particular is again a step forward when comparing with the previous version. Very Happy

I think he reason why I love so much some PAPO is they remind me old HAUSSER or LINEOL. They have a special touch like the Yak, the new Bactrian camel or those mallards Cool
