| Deer and antelope are usually a world of males in this hobby. mooses are not an exception although their females are unmistakable when compared with other does. That's an interesting release from Schleich although brands like Bullyland, K&M or AAA have released them in large size previously. Some can be found on vintage companies also but I think it is interesting to mention the anecdotic fact of Britains collectors taking the chance of their moose figures have removeable antlers to buy a pair and use one of them as a cow. :reindeer: |

Rodger, now that is a clever idea ! Britains collecting marked a generation in 1970s as Schleich is marking in last decade. Another clever Britains collecting trick was to use the old beardless deer without antlers as a mate to the newer bearded stag. It worked perfectly once older figure is smaller and being powerly bearded, it looks really like a doe when antlers are removed or broken. |

Roger, can you plz share any link to the large K&M moose picture? Although the moose is one of my favourite animal, I never heard about such figurine and TAI was not very helpful... Thanks. |
