| Hello Shanti, I checked your profile preferences and everything is correct. Apparently there is no explanation for that. Please check your e-mail spam folder. |

Really strange, I have now retouched your profile preferences but actually I haven't changed anything relevant. I am receiving all alerts in topics I am watching or posting. Let me know if you keep not receiving e-mails from STS. |

| I often wonder...usually when I get 2 or 3 notifications after a period away , and when I check "Posts sice last visit" ther may be 20 or more new ones So I have to remember to check there also, because if I shut down the topic I am checking, of course there are no news since last visit Then I can check "today's posts" at the bottom of the main page. But I am sure I miss some, if they have been written between I went to bed and midnight |

| The best way to not loose alerts is to visit the post directly from the link that is in that e-mail. It is also important that all sections on forum are being watched. There's a link at the bottom of each section. For example, if a new topic is created on Papo section and we are watching it, a new alert is received. Though, if we don't visit that topic meanwhile, all other new Papo topics that are created until our next visit, won't be e-mailed. The same with posts in a topic, we receive an alert but all other posts until our next visit won't be notified. Fortunately, should I say. The most efficient way to not loose any post is using the visit posts since last visit and opening each topic link in a new tab or browser window keeping the first generated results page. It can be done pressing ctrl key while clicking the topic link. In alternative we can click first with right mouse button and choose open it in a new window. Then, we click the windows of those that are already read, not the browser. |
