Here are some photos for the re-releases of the Maia and Borges figures that were also part of the Schleich ''Seetiere 1:32'' line.

A darker and more common color variant of the Schleich Sperm whale.

( I'd use a photo that could show off the scale, but I have since given the Papo Blue whale an extensive paint job).



Also, I want to add the newest color variant for the Monterey Bay Aquarium Gray whale mother. I got this around 2013 and it appears to be the same paint job on the current retail images on Safari's store. It's also in catalogs as old as 2007.


The variant on the MBA gray whale page with the white lips and eye-rings is not exactly ''Newer''. I have archived eBay listing photos that show both the white-lipped variant and the dark color variant with the tags the MBA collection had in the 90s. So they're both pretty early paint jobs. However, I'm not sure precisely which of those two released first. I can tell which of the specific calf variants they match with, but not sure which pair was released first.

I also decided to retake the photos of some of the 2021 Schleich as the first photos were awful in terms of quality and the lighting was terrible

I dont know if all the Schleich figures are missing - but i dont found the Archaeopteryx there

If you mean the scientific name is being debated, do not worry about it, just keep it consistent with Wikipedia even if Wikipedia is not 100% accurate. Especially hte name of the page. :)
