| I like the sound of this! Some wild feline models like an ocelot, serval, or caracal would be great!
As far as the toob series goes, wouldn't it be awesome if they did a toob featuring different species of wolves? I love wolves so much but wish there was a more diverse variety of species available on the market. |

Haha exactly my thoughts I just love wolves (they're my favourite animals <3), but whenever we see a figurine it's either gray or Arctic wolf. I'm not complaining about them, but it would be awesome to see other, lesser known wolf species! Producing such a toob would be the ideal way to inform people about these different species. Oooh I'd definitely buy it! |

| I made a few suggestions for them. New mythological creatures: Manticore (Persian), Tarasque (French) and even Tlanusi (Cherokee). I also suggested a "Recently Extinct" Toob: Dodo, Tasmanian Tiger, Great Auk, Labrador Duck, Steller Sea Cow, Golden Toad, Quagga, Dinornis moa, Pyrenean Ibex and Passenger Pigeon. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here are pictures (found on the net) of Tarasque, Manticore and Tlanusi. The Tarasque is a french dragon that has a flat face with a mane, a tortoise body and shell, six legs and a poisonous, pointy tail. The Manticore is a man-eater from Persia and India. It has the body of a lion, a human face with blue eyes and three rows of teeth and a scorpion tail equipped with throwable darts. When it eats its prey, it doesn't leave anything behind it. Tlanusi is a giant leech in the Cherokee mythology. It is as big as a bungalow house and is red is color, with white stripes. Not only it sucks the blood of its preys, but also eats its ears and nose off. These are the mythological creatures I suggested for Safari ltd, because I would like them to look into other folklores and mythologies, not just greek. But I didn't get any response from the company yet, though. |

| Seeing that painting and description of the legendary leech, has reminded me: why not add the Mongolian Death Worm to their cryptid figures (I don´t think they made one yet)? If you are not familiar with it, this is described as an extremely deadly creature that, as it´s name suggests, inhabits the Mongolian deserts. It is described as being a ferocious hunter that either kills it´s prey at a distance with electrical discharges or with it´s highly corrosive venom that literally eats away flesh. In short, definitely not a creature you would like to encounter in such a remote environment.
And the Manticore is an awesome idea as well! _________________ "Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin naal ok zin los vahriin wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal! Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan Dovahkiin, fah hin kogaan mu draal!"

And the Manticore is an awesome idea as well! Yes, I know of this myth as well: the Mongolean people call it "the large intestine worm". The creators of the movie "Tremors" said they got inspired by this myth to create their graboid. Which one is the most dangerous: Intestine Worm or Tlanusi? |

Which one is the most dangerous: Intestine Worm or Tlanusi? Ah, Tremors! I remember watching it several times, and the first ones where back when I was too young to really understand the story. I just wanted to see the monster! Well... I don´t know... the Tlanusi DOES sound like a very dangerous creature itself too. I say BOTH of them are creatures I wouldn´t want to provoke. _________________ "Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin naal ok zin los vahriin wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal! | Keep in mind...nothing that is suggested now will appear in 2017. The lead time is about 18-24 months depending on the project (normally).
I've been involved with Safari before, with the Prehistoric Sharks and Crocodiles toob, plus a few other things. Even when things are 'fast tracked' like the Kaprosuchus, it still takes at least a year.
In the case of the deep sea and cave toobs, I remember seeing the pictures of the prototype sculpts about 3 years before they became reality... _________________ I used to have an online store, but now it's a Blog exploring the variety in my collection!
