The small cattle from Bullyland :-)

In the period from 1988 to 2004/2007, Bullyland made a very cute series of cattle.
The series seems quite simple, but trying to collect them all, I discovered that - typical for Bullyland - that it is not that simple  

The series basically consist of 4 different cows, a bull and a cute, fuzzy, little calf  = 6 moulds.
All in three colours : Red, red/white , and black/white. This makes 18 different ones
But the two-coloured were painted with two teckniques : Spray-paint and hand paint, - now we have 30 different ones !!!!
And then , some had the muzzle and hooved painted, so did not. 60 models  

Then there is a grey one with bell/short horns = 61...and several variations on top of that.  
All in all, I will guess that there is at least 70 different ones

I think I have quite a few, but not nearly all, - and I really do not have room for 70 or more    

So therefore, if you have additional ones, I would love to see them, please

If I didn't know already your collecting way, I could feel very confuse reading this topic. Though, this is pure Susanne's style and I find it delicious. That's a kind of "innocent" collection but I find it lovely.

Susanne, I love topics like this! As Roger said, this is typically Susanne, haha Wonderful, I didn't know Bullyland made such a series; and I wouldn't have guessed there would be 70 - or more - different figurines of them Lovely, thanks for sharing! Would you mind sharing a photograph of one of these cows together with a normal sized cow?

Left to right : Bullyland old Standard, Bullyland Large ( Present range size), Schleich, Bullyland Large, Bullyland Standard, and Britains

This old series has a special charm.
These variants are typical of Bullyland. Susanne, remember the old Bullyland horses.
I have these cows in my collection.






















Same size but not the same type. Black-white cow is very special and brown cow belongs to an other little farm set.

This one is, as you say, a TRUE rarity !!!! The mould is the first ever cow that Bullyland made only from 1980 - 1982, as far as I have been able to find out.
And in the catalogues it is always brown like this , or brown with painted nose /hooves

Lovely cows, calfs and bulls! These are some animals I knew in my childhood! Not sure if I still have some of them..

Not 4, neither 16, not even 70, now after Yvette's post we all know they are 700!

Shanti, you are right, I also have played as child with these old Bullylands. You got them in every local toy shop for less money. In later years they disappeared more and more in the shops
and more and more expensive Schleich animals were sold.
in my having played youth, not collected.
Later when I getting older and didn´t played with these farm animals anymore, I fortunately keeped them all in a box and didn´t sold them.
Over the last years, I often saw them at flea markets. But now, they seem to disappear there too.

I don't know why but I think Denmark is a perfect destiny to all toy figures. So it is a wonderful idea.
