Bullyland cattle

Bullyland have made a number of cattle models-to me mainly generic models and many black/white and red/white.Here are the models.They chose to make 3 Scottish breeds which is unusual.Like Papo they never made an Angus,Hereford,or Jersey.They also have never made a specific Freisian.I apologise for the picture of the Allgau as my camera was playing up.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The scottish cattle is great but I do not have it. I just have the spanish one from Bullyland, as auroch at this scale!

Oh the oreo cow! I didn't know about that one! Now I need to find it.

As far as I can see the Galloway was only available for a single year, it is so strange that a few figures have such a short life, somewhat like the Papo weimaraner. I'm sure it is almost impossible to find since Bullyland has never been as popular as Schleich. About Frisian cattle, even if they do not mention it, you already know a traditional black and white cow usually intends to represent this breed. It is like some German Shepherd figures which are only marked Dog but we know what they represent.

Perhaps it was the time it was released in, but at least in the US, these "oreo" cattle are often popular as pets (you know... when one can have a cow for a pet. ) That's why I think Schleich's new calf is going to sell well and may increase sales of his mother too.
