Schleich 2016 Leopard

After waiting months for this leopard to be released, I finally recieved her the other day and was quite surprised on how excellent the paint job is on this replica. Most mass produced figures do not look anything like they do in stock photos, but Schleich for once seemed to identically match the stock photo appearance to this figure. I am still on the fence about the overall anatomy of the figure but nonetheless, that paint job takes the cake and is definitely an improvement.

And is it me...or do these spots up close appear to be "digitally printed" on? They are too precise to have been done by hand.

Fallon, I am so glad you've decided to give us a walk around of this figure. It was a huge excitment around the new brilliant cheetah but the leopard got in a 2nd plan. I agree with everything you mentioned. The sculpt is somewhat doubtful although I can't think in a better leopard figure from Schleich. Pose is very Mojö like, I think? Painting is high quality for a mass produced figure, I see some different roset shapes and also spots, The way they change larger rosets to spots is correctly done. Maybe they use some accessories to print prehsaped rosets rotating them to make they look more natural. I like the figure, thanks for your great pictures!

Nice Leopard and congrats on your add, but we still need a good leopard from one of the companies ... this figure is nice but still not quite .. there ! still this year Schleich gave us a beautiful cheetah though
