| Next time I find a Carolina I'll ask her which Carolina she is. If she says North, I am definitively out! Bizarre striped thing. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here it is: my EMELA-NTOUKA. Its name means "elephant killer" in lingala language. It is a gigantic animal from african folklore, particularily from the Pygmies of Congo. It has a bulky body, a long, thick tail, a rhinocéros horn and elephant-like legs. It is grey in color. Despite the fact that it's a herbivore, it is very aggressive, attacking éléphants, rhinos and hippopotamuses for territory, without eating them. Mythologians think this legend might come from ceratopsian fossils randomly found by native Africans. |

| Interesting again and great figure! it is somewhat like Ngoubou from Cameroon. The funny part is that there aren't known African ceratopsians, I guess. |

| This is a beautyful model again, and a very interesting animal Again I wonder about such accurate descriptions of an animal which we think is pure fantasy If paleontologists say there were no ceretopsians in the area, this indicates that they are wrong, - or perhaps a fossile had a claw posed near the nose and reminded the locals of a rhino ? |

That is a possibility. Now, a Bukavac and a Llamygyn Y Dwr are on process. |

It is described as a legless giant frog with bat wings and a long tail with a stinger. It lives in lakes and ponds. When the sun goes down, it jumps out of the water to Attack its preys. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is my Bukavac. The Bukavac is a river monster from Serbia. It has six legs, two long horns, a big mouth and pointy teeth. It jumps out of the water at night, screaming and attacking preys (including human). Its voice is so loud it causes more damage than its bite or its paw swipes. |

| Recently, I also made an Al-Mir-Aj. Unfortunately, because of serious loading problems Photobucket has since a few months, I haven't scanned it yet... |

Thank you! After my Al-Mir-Aj, what mythological creature would you like to see me do as a figurine? |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now, here is the Al'mir'aj I've been talking to you about. Al'mir'aj is a creature from arabian folklore. It is a hare or a rabbit that has a horn on its head, pointy teeth and dark spots all over its body. It is a fierce creature that attacks people and other animals. It seems the animal was inspired by leporideas who caught papillomavirus, a disease rabbits and hares can catch. The disease causes the fur to gather in pointy clausters that look like horns. It also causes fever and distemper-like behaviors. Now, Roger, you want me to make a Kitsune? That is a neat idea. Maybe I will make an Enfield as well, what do you think? |

| Excellent job on these sculptures! I've really learned a lot about mythical creatures reading through your thread since almost all of these are new to me. It would be wonderful to see one of the big name companies tackle some of these guys. |

I am glad that you like my idea, an enfield looks more like a salade of animals so I think you should put your effort in my suggestion instead. I truly love your new demonized rabbit, what a creature! |
