| Subject: Added to a 'United Kingdom' group? Tue Sep 20, 2016 6:32 pm | |
| I had an email from STS saying the following: "Congratulations, You have been added to the "United Kingdom" group on STS Forum . This action has been done by the group moderator or the site administrator, contact them for more information." I've search the group and cannot find a United Kingdom group? Was this a spoof email or do I need to do something to access this group? Thanks for any help. |

| Jackie and Yvette! I am creating some groups of the most representative communities on forum but for now it is just for moderation convenience. So, it is natural that most of you are receiving this message. Incredibly, our forum does not allow moderators to group members automatically by country. So, it needs to be made manually. However, there's still a huge work to be done. Much probably, in a later stage, these (country) groups will be visible to everyone and a good use can be done to it. Let's take a hypothetic example, supposing a swap thread is opened to collectors of the new [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], we can send a message exclusively to USA members using these groups. ... or, another example, if a new Schleich special edition is being exclusively sold in China, we can send a message to our Chinese member friends asking for more information. For now only groups about the biggest communities are being created: USA, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, France and Spain. Later more groups will be created: Canada, Australia, Poland, Denmark, China, Russia, India, etc. I will informe everyone if we ever give a objective use to these groups. |

| Thank you Roger for your explanation. Sounds like it will be a great asset for everyone here. It did confuse me when I got the message. Glad to know it wasn't a spam message |
