| Thank you for the photos Florian and congratulations for these great models I also got the Thylacoleo yesterday and I have to say, that it is such an amazing model ! Bravo Southlands and Jason I really like the idea of making Marsupial lion model, the sculpture of the model is great, the paint job is really nice.... for mass production , it is painted so carefully and with very nice details. For sure it is not simple paint job, which makes the model more special :) _________________ KOSTA |

| You pointed a relevant fact and these great pictures are very eloquent. Southlands Replicas are just starting and we are already seeing figures that look from a mature company once the manufacturing seems to be top quality. This time we're not making the usual comment that painting is poor because it is a recent company. It is actually very good. Sculpting is excellent but that we already expected once Jason is the Artist responsible. I also find the designs very attractive and with a lot of commercial potential. I recall that Papo also started with a roaring lion and tigress, both with paw up. The species are really interesting, a more popular like the Tasmanian wolf and a completely new to the market, the marsupial lion. The company was not lazy at all, making figures with open mouth are always more challenging, both in terms of sculpting and manufacturing. The same in terms of painting, it was much easier to choose a simpler painting to the marsupial lion but SR decided to use a reference to make it look more plausible. Congratulations and thanks for sharing! |

Thankyou very much Roger for your attention to detail and for sharing such a clear understanding of the elements (beyond the original sculpt) that go into creating a commercially available figurine. I strongly believe that our customers will appreciate that no shortcuts are taken with Southlands models. The painting approval process on it's own takes up to 3 months with samples sent backwards & forwards between Australia and the factory. We will not approve manufacturing until we are absolutely satisfied that the final product will look as realistic as possible. _________________ info@southlandsreplicas.com |

I hope it won't take too long to I have the chance of getting in my hands some of your figures, thus, I can consolidate all my dissertation. It is good to know that you take atention to all these details what explains why your figures are primarily collector itens. They'll surely please children too and I hope the market will be generous to your company once you deserve it. |
