Burnet moths in the family Zygaenidae. Normally for the Lepidoptera, I only do one genus per post, but since this group is so under-represented, I figure I will put the two I have for now here.

I. Erasmia pulchella niponica.
One figure (and one of the most dynamic figures in my collection), by Yujin (Insects of Japan).

II. Zygaena ephialtes.
One figure, by an unknown manufacturer. It appears to be modeled after the variety leuteopeucedanoideae.

So, next up are the grylloblattids, or 'ice insects'. The three figures here are all based on the same original sculpt (and I am not sure who originated it--it shows up periodically in bin sets). None of the figures I have seen have been officially labeled as grylloblatids, and the ID is of my assigning. I have seen them marketed as earwigs but that ID is clearly not correct. For the time being, grylloblattid makes the most sense although they are not entirely accurate (either they were given two pairs of cerci or they are females and the ovipositor is split?).

Of the three figures shown here, the one on the far left is by K&M International (Insects Nature Tube) but they others are from unknown manufacturers.
