| Does the "no subspecies" rule apply to Dingos, which are a subspecies of Grey Wolf? I'm not saying that one of my requests is the Dingo, but I just wondered if it was off limits because they have already made wolves... Dingos Grey Wolf So would subspecies like Dingos be out? |

| I have another question: Do the powers-that-be at Mojo think that a Clouded Leopard is too similar to a Leopard or Snow Leopard? I ask because my first choice request would probably have to be a Clouded Leopard, but since they are releasing a Leopard this year and Snow Leopards are the poster-child for Endangered Species, would they really be willing to release a figure of a cat with the name leopard other than a snow leopard so soon? So what I guess I'm asking would be: Is voting for a Clouded Leopard figure going to be wasting a my vote because it may be hard to market figures for a Leopard, a Black Leopard, AND a (still relatively unknown to most of the world) Clouded Lepard back to back? It helps, I'm sure, that most people in the USA call Melanistic Leopards "Black Panthers," but still, that doesn't change the fact that Clouded Leopards are not well known to the public... Such a shame, too. |

Interesting point of view! Is true that there are some subspecies very interesting like the dingo, that in a range could make a very different roll from the wolf, and there are different species that are almost the same figure! Anyway it is always necessary to create some rules to make a selection works! So in this point a dingo could not be a choice! Anyway a clouded leopard is a different species, even genus, you can make it one of your choices! And, for example, in Portuguese, this animal is not even called leopard! :) |

Sylvia, could you please change the quagga, because it is a subspecies? ...try to find another horsy creature!:) But it´s extincted... If I just say "zebra" they won´t do a quagga, they will do a zebra, and I would love to see a quagga. They are very similar but different, so I keep the quagga. It´s not the same difference between different zebras and a zebra or a quagga, I hope you understand me. _________________ Visit my collection gallery at http://sylobe.deviantart.com/gallery/26714361

But in this kind of "games" there's no perfect formula! But it could work with a repainted zebra! If our contribution to the brand works perfect I think it will be easy to ask for a quagga using the argumentation that is not necessary a new mould! But only in further events! |
