Papo 2017 : Oviraptor in blue.

I always felt a little sorry for the oviraptors .
Not only did they die out , but when they had been sitting for 75 million years trying to protect their eggs, people accused them for being egg thieves  

Papos oviraptors, however, is carrying their eggs ! Perhaps that is a better strategy ?

And now the dull green one has got compgny of a much more colourful one, - I am sure they are a pair  
Now they can carry eggs around together, and they look very happy

Papo truely did a great job painting the face of the male

That is a true love story! Oh, and the actress and the actor are so cute! I can see it clearly in your sharp close up pictures.
I think this oviraptor is a paradigmatic example of what is Papo. They are always far from the reality, they use outdated concepts but they sculpt with a level detail that no other company rivals. The blue color is attractive, actually but it doesn't change too much in a piece that represents a remarkable scientific mistake. I identify in it an interesting figure but Safari's version really breaks my heart.

I agree with Roger, what a wonderful mistake A real Papo for sure.

I still have a bias for another psychedelic oviraptor, the smaller Kaiyodo

The oviraptor is probably one of the ancestors of the turkey, so that is not so strange
And considering he is 75 million years old, I think he looks fine
