Lineol's day! After seeing this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it was a little scary to see that a Lineol was repainted. Obviously I don't want you to feel guilty of that, anyone is free to do what wants with his own figures. Also, it was probably needing some work to look decent.
Fortunately, that fabulous sculpture is with blessed hands and the final result gives justice to the sculpt. Though, I can't be neutral to the fact that it is a Lineol, it is easier to manage when it is a Toy Major.
Noémi, you have one of the most beautiful collections I know, masterpieces and masterpieces.

Roger, sadly not all of Lineol models have as good condition as that antelope on the photos.
When I get a commission I do what the owner ask from me.
I also prefer to make them to the original appearance but sometimes it is not possible or the owners ask anything else.
This is not my giraffe. But I also have a giraffe which is in bad condition. It has broken and missing parts and half of his paint was already lost when I got him. My giraffe will be resculpt and repaint to Thornicroft giraffe.
