| Hmm, if I am honest, I do not like the brown color. But the mare is beautiful!

| What a beautyful, lovely model I sort of like the colour, - she looks like she has been out on a sunny field all summer Thankyou for sharing !!! Her clone sister is on the way to me from Germany, - I am delighted to see these pictures already now _________________ SUSANNE

| I also like the color. Friesians often bleach out in the sun. When you get yours, you'll see what I meant with those rubber legs - you can nearly tie them to knots |

| I got mine today, and I love it very, very much !!! I love the size, I love the colour, and also I love the material If she is not in the sun, the colour is perfect, and I prefer that the models aren't so big. To me the material is really nice, - a bit like Bullyland models, which is very sturdy and does not change shape in storeage. Also I think it is very good fo smaller children, who can't hurt themselves on it _________________ SUSANNE |

| I know that black horses turn brown sometimes during Summer, but this one is too much brown I guess...it also seems to me her legs quite short for a Friesian. Thanks for the photos! _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

| She has really nice expression on your photo, Susanne! And also doesn't look that brown. She reminds me of older Friesian mare by Schleich, she is also brown airbrushed to black. Well, maybe I'm spoiled by McDermott's CollectA Friesian his legs are really long. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |

I remember when they were mainly used as carriage horses, - enormous, and powerful horses they were! _________________ SUSANNE |

| Hi! So nice to see photos of this model, I still don't have it but I hope to receive it soon. I do think on some photos she appears a bit too brown. It's also true some Friesians get a bit of that brown colour in the summer but not all of them, some stay black whole year round I wonder if Mojo could adjust the colour yet to a bit darker brown or black, I liked the black they used on the model of Andalusian. About the new material, I didn't have it in my hands yet but it does seem strange on some photos indeed! About the proportions, they are based on the heavier type of Friesian, the old one. From what I have seen around here, Friesians are extremely popular and almost every riding club have some, the old type is seen as often as the new lighter type. Of course on the shows, you will see more of these long-legged modern type Friesians, also with their more spectacular way of moving but it's not what I wanted to show in this model. This model was based mostly on the few Friesian mares which I see in local riding club _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Honestly, watching the first picture, I had the same exact impression that legs seemed short. Soon, I remembered that there are two main types of Frisian, the baroque and the sport horse. Deborah used the sport type as a reference, it is evident in her work with a horse with finer and longer legs. This Anna's version, is the masterpiece of horse breeding, the baroque Frisian horse, much more robuste and with relatively short limbs, fantastic mane and feathers, a wonderful depiction of what may be the most beautiful horse of the world. Curiously, the brownish color doesn't disturb me minimally. I even think that it contributes somewhat to the realism of the figure. Though, Mojö should consider to present it in a darker color to make it match with what is generically more accepted. |

| This Frieser is indeed a beautiful model. The new material is not a problem, but it is softer than I like. The dark brown painting is beautiful in lamplight. The only negative I have to remark is the model's very strong smell of plastic or paint. The odor fills the whole living room! The Shire horse do not smell like this. I got both these horses today. Anna has done a marvelous job with these horses. Thanks for showing pictures. |
