| Hello, dear friends! It's been a while since I shared my photos with you... so let's save this tradition? I have so many things to show, but let me start from this one, my favorite horse breed — Friesian mare by Safari ltd In the last few years we could see the fashion with releasing Tinkers (remember Tinker mare by Bullyland, Schleich and CollectA families, Papo and Mojö horses), but it seems to be Friesian to go on. And so Safari ltd took their start with new sculptor (I think I can see similar style in this mare and Safari ltd black pegasus, though), which created an amazing horse! Many people in Russia didn't like this mare, but I hope I could change their bad opinions with my review. So I hope you'll like this girl named Black Pearl She has wonderful, very, very detailed sculpting that looks natural (there is no any excess details, that you can't really find sometimes in horse models). I have never seen so detailed mane and tail! But she also has her lacks: she looks too heavy from front or back, like she has too many muscles. But we can see it only from several angles, not more [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A bit closer:[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Oh that mane, in which I wish dive my fingers if Black Pearl would be live! Oh those details![You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Detailed are even intimate parts [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ My shadow's the only one that walks beside me, My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating. | Incredible walkaround! This model is just Black or white, as, for example, arabian Schleich mare: you love them or you hate them |

| Thank you for the walk around. I can understand why not everyone would like this horse model. But I just love the dramatic, heraldic pose. |

| I am so happy of seeing a walk around of this figure. I was not expecting it that soon! I agree with Songbird, this is one of these figures that we like a lot or we dislike completely. Schleich Arabian mare could be a good comparison but in a very different way. Safari and Schleich figure are both exagerated in their interpreetations. Safari looks like one of these epic bronze statues evoquing historical momments in the middle of a old town square. Schleich Arabian mare could be also easily in the middle of a square but likely in Disneyland. Both fantastic worlds, just a question of taste. I don't see this figure as a accurate depiction of the breed but enough identifiable. Though, it is a great piece of art with a powerful expression. I like especially from the angle of the photo below. If Safari decided to make most of their horse releases like this one, I'd surely dislike and disagree, but in a collection, it is good to see some variation and I think Morgan, Tinker and Przewalski horses, released this year, show all different character and identity. Safari wats to give some focus to their renewed Winners Circle series and a flashy horse is surely a good idea. We like or not, we surely are not neutral to it. | Thank you for the walk around! It's fantastic that you got it so early and that you took so many great photos of it! For anyone considering adding one to collection, such photos are a great help I'm not a fan of this model but I see it has some good points: I like the head profile, it looks good from the side, and fit into breed characteristic, straight profile, small cheeks, small nostrils, mouth, and ears, looks very Friesian from the side. Mane is sculpted beautifully, I agree! But, just as Susanne, I don't like the pose, especially neck and head carriage. Also, I don't like that the tail is carried so high, almost like an Arabian horse would do it. Friesians don't do it this way, the low tail set is one of the breed characteristics. I agree with what Roger said about this model reminding a bronze statue or a monument _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Thank you all for any your comment! - SUSANNE wrote:
- I am almost ashamed, - I really do not like the pose very much at all.
I really do not think it is natural for a horse to lift the head like that high and still bend that much in the neck , - not unless somebody is tearing heally hard with a cruel kind of bridle Sometimes we can accidentally catch very strange pose that we can't capture but our camera do. Maybe it is one of such examples? - Roger wrote:

I think so. Also we can see that old horse sculptor started to do horses for Safari ltd again, and it's really good news! I can't say that I really like any of their 2016-2017 horses. Partly — yes, all the details in any horse — no Maybe this pose isn't common, it is not so bad way to bring something new to the serie - Ana wrote:

| Thank you for the walkaround and lovely photos I also do not like this model - don't like the pose or the head carriage. I do like the shape of the head, but that's about it |
