Elastolin Anteater

Hello all, it's been a while but I wanted to share a new addition to my collection. I found this guy on eBay at a great price and was very happy to get him. He has great old paint and just a few pin holes.

That's it for images. Very happy with this recent addition. And a happy wave to all my friends here I haven't seen in awhile. I have been too busy with Playmobil collecting to get much time for other animal lines. I will have to post as highlights thread on Playmobil from the last couple of years I guess.

Hello Tim, it is great to see you posting here again! Giant anteaters are my passion, even more than foxes. A funny detail, once, much before starting to collect foxes, I wanted to collect anteaters. Though, I thought the only anteater was the retired from Schleich and I'd never guess how many existed once I didn't know these vintage brands. I soon gave up once even the Schleich anteater was very expensive at that time. Later I wanted to find an animal of my taste to collect and that was more common in toy shape and, as my niece gently refused a Schleich fox I gave her, I thought it could be a good idea to collect them. To be fair, I have an interesting collection of anteaters, from giant anteaters, tamanduas, pangolins, etc. Congratulations!
