| Here is want to show you all the Lineol composition models i have so far. New items for the collection will be put here in time. A lot of the old Lineol models were made by a very talented artist, and still belong to the best sculpts ever made in some species! Enjoy! | Again, spectacular stuff, I love the yak, and correct me if I'm wrong, it is very similar to the Schleich scale right? I am looking to have several yak for my eventual northern Himalayan diorama, something I will do in the future. |

| Thank you Phil, Holly and Ana! Yes, Phil, the fit very well with the Schleich scale most of the time. I must admitt, that the Lineols are the proud of my collection! Amazing how good this sculptor was in those days, and probably without ever seeing the animals in real life! I like to have them all, but the antelopes made by Lineol are high on my wanted-list. The greater kudu, elen, oryx and saber-antelope are amazing! Here some pics of them. I love the oryx and sable, not that I don't like the others, but those two I tried to buy from a seller overseas, I was just a little to late he had sold both of them the day before I contacted him. I'm not sure I would have bought either, he wanted over $100 usd each, but I may have paid that for the oryx. |

| Some time ago, i was able to buy the kudu for around 35 euro or so i believe, but i didn't at the end, because my money run out. In that lot was the Australian lyre-bird and another bird too. Now i saw, that the female seller had them on www.figurenjournal.de, for much higher prices... The chance to get the saber, elen and oryx are quit small, as they don't show up that much. It is hard to get them, specially in good condition, with not to many cracks. For what i saw, those nice antelopes go up very high in price sometimes, 50 euro minimum is nothing indeed, but often even more... But nice and quality things do cost money as we all now... Thanks other Phil... Yes, like i said, those composition figurines are my proud, and i need to get much more of them of course. But is saw some items that go up far over 1000 euro a piece! That is far out of my reach for now at least! But sometimes you get lucky, and i could buy this Lineol moose and Hausser Elastolin black gnu for just 22 euro's, including shipping... |

| 1000 euros is a considerable sum of money. I know some go for far more than that - it boggles the mind. Lyre-birds are rather stunningly beautiful creatures. |

| Thank you Amy! Yes, they are nice and priceless in a sense of way... They are not only models, but a part of the history of our common hobby too!
Yes Phil, there are some that go far beyond the 1000 euro mark indeed, and even some that are very damaged, but rare then... The Australian lyre-birs is a really awesome creature, with his mimics of the most strange noises he can copy, like photo-camera's and so on. Here is a link to a little movie on youtube, to get an impression.
