| Fantastic Torben, great additions. The Crab, is it really huge? About nine or ten inches wide? Because while on Holiday, in the house we stayed in, they had a crab just like that on a shelf for decoration, I didn't think anything of it at the time, but wish I'd had a look for a brand name now... |

| Nice models I too have just got that Rhino and now I am missing only one ! I use to have the whole set of the sea animals. I can remember that they came in a set of 12 and were £12 but my mum said no because they were too expensive. Then she bought them for me when they were reduced to £6. I stupidly gave them to my cousin 4 years ago |

| It keeps amazing me, how many good models AAA made, and is still making! I love your new lemurs Torben, although it is a little bit strange, that they used the same molds for three different species... |

| Great additions, my brother has the Iguana. Funny colouring for a pointer, looks more like a Dalmatian, really nice model though! _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Hello all, while the iguana figure is a great model it is not an iguana, it is a tuatara.
Tuataras are very interesting animals, there are two species, they live on islands off of the coast of New Zealand and require very cold temps compared to other reptiles to survive. They are most active below 65*F and stress out when temps hit 70*, at 82* they die.
The most interesting facts about tuatara are first, it is the same species that has been identified from more then 65 million year old fossils, so this same species of animal was on the earth at the same time as the dinosaurs, not just extinct relatives of it. Even more amazing is the this creature is not a lizard. It is in it's own family and although it looks just like a lizard it has several features that make it not a lizard. You can tell the difference between a tuatara and an iguana by looking at the teeth and lower jaw, on an iguana the teeth are not as sharp or numerous and the lower jaw has a very large tympanic scale (sometimes called a subtympanic membrane) that is missing in the tuatara.

| Great Torben! But your pointer is a Dalmation indeed, and your green iguana or leguan a tuatara as Phil said. It misses the spikes on his back to be a green iguana or leguan.... |
