This one is very cute but, I don't know why, for me seems like a mix of Clydesdale CollectA mare (the body and the colours) and a pony (the thin face) Shocked

I love her !!! That was almost as the Hanoverian horses looked in my youth : Big, noble, gentle and elegant cheers

PS : I don't know how it is now, but "Warmblood" used to be the term for horses with thoroughblood bred in, as opposed to "Cold blood" draught horses.
Not terms for breeds at all Very Happy

Reading CollectA's official text, it seems obvious that this figure is not supposed to represent any specific breed but just a type of horse. Even if we think in it again as an American breed, f. i., a American warmblood, we could easily understand that it couldn't be be represented in toy shape faithfully once this called breed, is more a type of horse and criteria are based in performance and not conformation. I am not sure how this particular horse will perform Laughing but, considering what a traditiona warmblood looks, I think this boy is quite well done. Actually I think it is my favorite horse of the batch presented today. As a last note, I like when a breed is assigned to a figure but better to label it with a type than naming it randomly. Very Happy

He looks handsome, I wonder how he would look from different angle and in factory paintwork, hope it will turn out well.
I also appreciate they released him just as a type, not specific breed. He could be Dutch Warmblood, they're kinda mix of other European warmblood breeds, or any other breed, almost every country has its own Warmblood breed.
Only thing that bothers me a bit, is fact, that recent CollectA horses have much thicker legs with less defined joints than the first horses by McDermott. I supposed it's because od safety and stability...

Oh wow, he looks just like the new Breyer model, True North Very Happy More specifically the raffle model from Breyerfest this year, Rangoli.

Not saying this is a copy at all so don't take this the wrong way, I'm only saying how they look similar. And that's a good thing Wink

Love this one! Very Happy

Lovely model! However, just like with the recently announced Quarter foal, the legs seem to be thicker than in the case of previous CollectA/Deborah models. They seem a bit chunky...

They surely look almost the same ! Well, Breyer can probably easily do that, because they own both Rolling Eyes

Perhaps they have had too much trouble with the thin legs ? There are more like the legs we see in all the other brands . I do not mind Very Happy

You're right! he was familiar to me, but I didn't realize why.
Can't help myself, True North mold looks more dynamic while the CollectA WB seems kinda stiff to me. Maybe it's because a photo angle? Really curious about him in real.

Can anyone compare this figurine with Collecta donkey? I want to buy it but I'm not sure about its size!
