COLLECTA 2018: HORSE COUNTRY - Icelandic Stallion - Blue Dun (88826)

So here is the last of CollectA's horses being announced today - a handsome Icelandic Stallion in blue dun colour. I have to say I think the blue dun colour in horses is my most favourite.

The Icelandic Horse is a breed that has been developped in Iceland. They are pony-sized but yet referred to has horse. Compared to most other horses this breed is known to perform an additional gait „tölt“. Whereas weak gaits can be improved by training but the tölt is a natural gait present from birth.

I think nobody knows Icelandic horses better than Susanne and her reaction tells a lot about how good is the figure. I like the color, the pose, it is quite identifiable to the breed, try to compare it with other renditions made by other brands recently. It is also not long legged as many CollectA horses what is a luck for that particular breed. Good choice, CollectA needed it. Very Happy
