| So here it is, the animal which I gave you all a clue about in terms of it being the only member from its country. We have the Madagascan Baobab and so it was important to have some animals to go with it....I am still hoping for other species so there is hope to come. Some of you did guess right when I gave out the clues so well done! I love the sculting of this model - different to those which already exist and very detailed. It's an improvement on primate models in the CollectA range and hopefully a welcomed and cheeky addition for us all. Enjoy! Official textThe Ring-Tailed Lemur is a strepsirrhine primate similar to a fox with a protruding muzzle and a wet nose. It's clearly recognizable by its long black and white ringed tail. As shown in the CollectA model the tip always ends with a black ring. Size: L8.1cm x H8.4cm Release: Mid-2018 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Oh so the guys were really right, so no Tree kangaroo for this year. But it is indeed a nice model, not something that I need in my collection, but which definitley will have a lot of lovers. The paintjob is absolutely amazing, as is the pose and the propotions of it. |

| I got it right! I'm happier about having solved the clue than about the species choice, but I guess every major brand needs this charismatic animal in its range... I would rather have a ruffed lemur, a sifaka or an indri, but perhaps, as Numaan says, they'll come in time. Let's cross fingers and patiently wait for them...
This lemur seems very well done. I like both sculpting and painting, and, as with the white-tailed deer, perhaps I'll get it to substitute my old one...
I was trying to persuade them to look at Red ruffed lemur but hopefully next time....step by step we shall conquer Madagascar! (in a good animal model way) |

This lemur seems very well done. I like both sculpting and painting......... I agree completely !!! A very nice lemur, but it could have been SO much more fun with another species of them |

| I agree with all the above. Beautiful paint job, scale will be a problem for me, shame it's not a red lemur or sifaka, but still.... What a wonderful figure! |

| To be fair, I agree with most comments here. That was surely the lemur species we could expect from CollectA. Though, we all understand these more traditional choices. It is good to keep some balance in company's range to warrant a long commercial life to it. The figure is very good although I think we have already some good ring-tailed lemurs on market. Maybe it will sell well and open room to CollectA introduce other less common Madagaskan species. |

| Very detailed Figure, joins the Mojo Lemur which is also an extremely detailed figure (accompanied by its companion and baby) .. I expected a species from Madagascar and was almost sure it would be a different primate !! Still this will have many takers ( me included to make a nice big ring tailed family) |

| I look forward to se it. In the picture the nose seems a bit too long, - or is it the forehead that is too steep ? But it may just be the photo Gosh ! Aren't we getting spoiled ? I remember my delight when I found the one from Safari, - and now we have a whole lot to choose from, and can afford to be fussy about small details |
