Classic is a good adjective to qualify this figure. Clearly contrasting with the most modern representations of this breed that are clearly more flashy. This is one of the good horse figures that resulted from the cooperation between Schleich and the Portuguese company Maia & Borges. A good generation of horses that contributed to the huge prestige Schleich acquired meanwhile, not because of their colorful and girlish designs but because of the serious way they portraied these animals.

Amazing model! I have seen this one in person and can attest to his beauty. The only issue is that he's a little on the small side to fit in with the rest of the Schleich horses. However, he's still a remarkable figure.

I really like him as well. He seems more sturdy than the other schleich Frisian and more of a cold blooded type which I have a weakness for.
