My 2 new lovely dinosaurs from CollectA:
Psittacosaurus

Tenontosaurus(1:40)

They are both 100% accurate!

I love your parrot, I've read something about this prehistoric creature and it looks that the figure is nice donne! :)
But, did I forget to send the complete tail of the tenontosaurus?? I told you that this guy have a long tail! :)

How big are they ?
In the local knitting-shop they had 2 or 3 CollectA-dinoes, they were app the size of the horses, not big at all, - is that typical for CollectA ?

Ahh. So that may be the reason they make so many different ones, - perhaps they are very popular because they don`t take up so much space as many of the others.

If we like it or not, the manufacturers do make the figuers to make a living and not to please us

These medium sized CollectA dinos are relatively small what is nice for collectors and children. Larger ranges, more diversity, smaller sizes, lower prices, not everybody can buy a 25€ T-rex! And some small creatures result perfect at smaller sizes! :)

This range of medium sized dinosaurs uses the same sizes colours of the regular range!
...and they have even babies!!!

So, red size (2nd smallest), here is a Velociraptor (88034) from 2006, first year, with a Schleich penguin...
this is a classic version, not feathered of a very popular and turkey sized dinosaur, even so small is very big compared with regular scales! CollectA, in its Deluxe range, has another, much more larger and accurate velociraptor, with protofeathers, IMO much more credible than the alegoric but dramatic Bullyland figure....



In this picture the gigantoraptor, a really giant "turkey" with 8 metters, here in a very small scale, is from 2009 (88307), is not a fantastic miniature but I don't know many replicas of this ugly creature.
Is the yellow color, 3rd one, the same of the stagbert while the velociraptor is the same size color of Hindberta!

As I told before that's a nice way to collect a huge diversity of dinos of relatively small figures and wasting not big amounts of money!
If you are interested in collect this figures those two are yours! :)

This is not a good home for them because I was collecting this figures and already stopped, some are with some members of my family, like the dracorex, triceratops and some more! I only have these two and a Sarcosuchus, but the crocodile I'll keep with me!
Now I'm only collecting some prehistoric mammals and some crocodilians or related!:)

Not the entire range, but at least a few nice ones, mostly prehistoric.
No sign of the antelopes yet... I will order some figurines soon!

In local shop I've seen some of CollectA 2012:okapis (love them ) red panda (not for me ) some horses and maybe some more but no antelopes, giraffes and red river hog yet. It's hard to wait sometimes, isn't it?

Lucky you, you can get the wonderful Red River Hog!!!! My number one of the new Collecta's. Is it as good as on the pictures? Also can't wait for the Hyena, Waterbuck, Eland Antelope and Walrus! Finally some signs of life from CollectA!

Those are among the ones I can't get. No walrus, beluga, hog, antelopes... It's so frustrating! They do have most of the dinosaurs, the plants, the red panda, white lions, the okapis, the giraffes, the cats and the Neanderthals.
