Do you know this feeling ? :
You have had a model for a long time, and then, when for some reason you hold it in your hand, you feel a pang of joy
It can also be a new model, which has stood on your shelf for a little while, and looking at it , you feel very happy to own it.

Some weeks later, it is another model which makes your collector's heart skip whit happiness      

It is not neccesarily the most expensive or innovative or realistic model you own.
It may not be one, which you want to make a walkaround of.
And if somebody ask you which model you love most in your collection, they may not be the ones you think of,
but RIGHT NOW, they make you happy  

When I took a picture for the SUY about wild horses, I got the good, old, Schleich Przewalski horse out of the box, where it has been lying for years.
I sat with it in my hand for some time, and it felt like I had found an old friend
In the box next o the horses, the old Schleich dogs live. I love them all, but when I got the Newffy out, I remembered, how great this model is.

Wild, wild horses ! She may not be perfectly realistic, but the expression is perfect

All fuzzy and hardy and tough, she is a REAL wild horse

These two ladies stand on my piano and make me happy every time I look at them !
How often have is wished for some "breed" of chickens ?
And this year, Papo has made the most wonderful Silkie hen, and Safari has made a lovely Ameraucana hen

This is a very interesting selection Susanne. I was very excited which ones would it be!

No, it really wasn't hard, because it is just the ones I loved this moment, - of course it may be others next week. Or perhaps tomorrow perhaps ?

This will be so lovely topic, which I will love to visit every day
And it is already looking great, with Susanne`s and Roger`s favorite models
Of course, these models are your favorite today .... maybe tomorrow will be something else..
which makes this topic even greater ...because people will share their top 5 not only one time :)

Soon I will share also my top 5 , but I`m sure , it will be a hard choice :)

Susanne, I got this beautiful Schleich Newfoundland dog , this year from Beatrice and I love it :)
It is a great company to my Papo Newfoundland, which I also love.
And I still miss this wonderful Schleich Przewalski horse .. , but one day I will find it for sure :)
This new Papo Silkie hen is so lovely ... for sure will be on my collection when will come in bulgarian Papo shop.
The same I can say for the CollectA African Civet - choice by Roger.
This Rhino is real gem... although he is in a big trouble if this huge grasshopper decide to attak him

You look as a fan of old Safari Collections. So am I. I like the deep sea fishes too. Sadly, I was too badly off to get these models when they were available. I only bought Carnegie, Missing Links and some models like the gembox with its weird painted calf... I had some insects too but my sons as kids have severed most of the legs during their joyful games.

Two of my favourites. I had them for a long time, but just taking them off the shelves made me smile.

No, it is not from the Tennessee Aquarium collection but a single figure made exclusively to the Great Smoky Mountains Association. It has the year 2004 marked on it but, those who have the original tag can read 2010 marked on these tags. I don't know exactly the reason but apparently this figure was initially only sold in the shop of the Great Smoky Mountains but later it could be found in a few other similar natural park shops. It is not also known a salamander mould, on regular series, released in 2004, what may mean this mould was exclusive to this figure what makes sense once the sculpt fits perfectly the species represented. I really love Safari collections being them old or new,they're a remarkable company!
