Hi there, dear Bullyland fans.
I don't collect Bullyland at all, as I'm focused mostly on horses and those by Bullyland are rather toyish for me, but when I realized they release a new Irish setter what is my favourite canine breed I thought I had to get it.
I discovered the setter in a toy store few days before last Christmas and have left with another dog - French bulldog, he was too cute to resist.
And I was actually more excited about the Frenchie than about the setter...
Maybe I'm not that enthusiastic about the setter as it is not the best representant of the breed (for me)... Its body isn't properly defined, mostly the hindquarters and hindlegs...
And its head is quite heavy and short...
..it is visible mostly from that side.
I guess I'm spoilt by my other setters, by the lovely Schleich setter with devoted expression and by the "Best-In-Show" type by Breyer:
I guess the Bullyland setter has the best colouring, and the Procon/CollectA and Breyer ones have the best conformation. The sitting one I have since my childhood has also lovely face. I'm happy I have this varied pack of my favourite breed.
And let's move to the Frenchie.
He is SO cute! I just couldn't leave without him (and I'm not supporter of Brachycephalic breeds).
It is obvious that they love Frenchies at Bullyland, they putted much effort in sculpting this little one.
He could be a bit longer, he seems to me way too short from profile, but it is definitely beautiful dog replica, so tiny, yet very detailed.
He even has claws and paw pads!
These two were my very last additions of 2017 so now I can finally start to share 2018 acquisitions. See ya at my Breyer and Schleich threads
