| Taylor, now that you mention it, I see that the markings on lower parts are not typical for an Arabian oryx. Lower legs should be dark and the strip on flanks less conspicuous. However, markings are also not correct for a gemsbok and the pale color, lack of color washes on rump and triangular facial markings do really work better for an Arabian then a gemsbok. It would be important to discuss these points and help Mojö fixing it before it is too late. :) |

| The painting is between of Gemsbok and of Beisa oryx to me. Are the legs too short? And too thick?

| Great new choice. I don't think its a best model of this species I've seen, but its a welcome addition to my shelves. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I love the idea of Mojo team, the give us an Arabian Oryx model ! This is very beautiful animal , with endangered status .. and we have only one model by Safari. The model looks with very good details on sculpting and painting , the face is beautiful too, the pose is nice, but if we have to be honest, the result of presentation of Arabian Oryx is not perfect. Some of you already pointed, that the markings on the legs are more for Gemsbok. Also the legs are too short , which makes them look too thick ,and which makes the head also look too big for the body. If only the legs were longer, then I think the proportions will be better. But maybe in the future, Mojo team can change the color of the legs and the model will be more correct replica of the Arabian Oryx. Still the choice of this animal deserve _________________ KOSTA |

| I do like this figure, a little chubby and short/thick legs. I agree, it is more of an gemsbock/oryx vs an Arabian oryx. Ariabian Oryx (safari figure) _________________ Shawn

| Lovely figure. it’s really great to see another oryx sadly though the paint work is neither gemsbok Arabian oryx or beisa oryx someone needs to inform mojo before it’s released |

| Even if you helped me to see that the figure may not be as magnificent as I thought and I agree. Legs are thicker than desirable and the big problem of the painting. I continue really happy that Mojö is venturing again in the antelope fever and there are lots of good things in this figure. I pointed the coloring problem in their Facebook, I don't know if it is the best way but maybe we all together could help Mojö finding a good color pattern before this figure going for production. |

| Yeah, for me it´s also rather a Gemsbock than an arabian oryx... |

| I respect your thoughts, but I really didn't like the animal. The color pattern is wrong, the legs too short and the pose is trivial. With all due respect for the artists. - Roger wrote:
