Mojö 2019 Mallard

Mojö Fun presented today a mallard duck to be introduced in their range in 2019.

A handsome duck, if not exciting. For whatever reason though, I really do like it. I'd just prefer seeing other wild duck species like pintails, wood ducks, or blue winged teals for instance.

A nice duck but a mallard again

Nice mallard ! I would also have liked to get a more unusual species, but I suppose this one is what sells ;-)

A lovely duck but as mentioned before could have been another species!

I see in this figure a mallard with a lot of dignity. These animals are often represented with a somewhat cartoonish looking and this one looks perfectly proportioned. In the point of view of a collector of all brands, this is one more mallard among many others, but Mojö Fun never released a duck if I am not wrong, not even the traditional white duck and no other major brand avoided the release of a mallard. The only other species we find is the mandarin but always after the white and mallard. Maia & Borges and AAA are the real exceptions with lots of species but those are "duck" related series. By the way, this one is better than M&B counterpart. It is also great to see Mojö venturing into figures with a more complex painting.
