Aww he's lovely! It's too bad the distribution for Mojo is rather poor...I have a Hobby Lobby near by but they never get in the new models. Can barely find them online either.

Happy Hen Toys (based in the US) sells them online, and Mini Zoo in Australia sells them. Even though Mini Zoo is in Australia, it's not hard to get things shipped from them shipped to the US and they have great customer service. Happy Hen Toys seems a bit slower to get things (based on a couple Schleich things I have wanted from them in the past).

Also yes a domesticated reindeer. That's why it looks 'off' to me. I expect the wild version, as with CollectA's! I was wondering why there was so much excitement for this reindeer, when I first saw it I was not that impressed but I was comparing it to the wild type.

EDIT: or this could be the female, and the CollectA figure is a male?!?

I think the antlers show that this is a domesticated reindeer.

I always find the determination of reindeers/caribous very difficult. There are so many subspecies, sometimes only with small differences as colour pattern, habitat or height. The most companies make no differences and call them reindeer/caribou. I think Bullyland was one of the few companies, who made a caribou and a reindeer.
I even didn´t know, that the domestical form looks different than the wild ones.

The domesticated reindeers have very correct antlers. Also the hooves are smaller than the ones from wild life reindeers.

It might be just the angles of the photos and its position, but the head looks a bit short.
Would've liked to see a bit different kind of antlers, and a bit darker color. But it's cute, I might try to find a place to order it from.

Welcome from Portugal, all reindeers I see here are those from Christmas. I believe it is different in Finland.
