Taos' Schleich Additions 14/3/2024

The 2024 models have started to arrive in my local shop so have gotten this bunch.
I wasn't going to get the Ibex but when I saw him I changed my mine!
The Angora goat is a really great model,its one of my favourites to date.This is one of Schleichs better goat models since the Boer goats.
The 2 primates are lovely.
The Old English Sheepdog is another good model despite the strange eyes!
The little Galloway calf is again a nice model but the painting is poor-the white should be more vivid and the demarcation line between the black and white should be crisper as this is what a good Galloway should look like.
The Cape Buffalo,well its a Cape buffalo and its a good model but that's it really.
I was going to get the Jersey cow but all the models were scuffed so hoping there will be a better selection when I go back.

Some more additions.I also saw the turtle but didn't get as was very small and the Salamander as wasn't impressed.I think the only other model I need is the British Shorthair.Found a Jersey that wasn't scuffed!

Discount store puzzle animals.I wasn't going to get any but succumbed and brought a few and these 2 are my complete ones!Quite nicely made models.

the buffalo looks really nice.. i will be adding that one to my collection
