Are your Shires made in the same country?
I had two in my collection, both made in China and they were bay.

The bay I have is made in China and I will need to check the other one.Have tried to look at Tims but the site keeps saying error

It is temporary, - they are probably ( I hope !!!!) working on some problems that the editors have with the system

Thanks Susanne, I love this website and has so much information for collectors. Soon I'll be posting pics (when it's working that is) of missing photos of figures like the new CollectA leopard etc

My Shire mare is allmost black too. I have two stallions, one dark bay and the other one is in a sort of buckskin coloration.

Here are my 2 Shires and both are made in China.

I believe the glossy shire mare is the old one and the hard one is the newer one.

The Schleich Tortoise set.The adult tortoise has a rather strange pose with its hind legs splayed out behind it!

Oh yeah, how strange, do you have any idea what species these tortoises are?

Lovely tortoises! The adults legs are sort of weird but the babies are especially cute.

I am just assuming its a Greek tortoise

It seems to fit that species perfectly so when I acquire the set I'll put down as this species

That set i dont know before, it is interesting. I think i will buy it.

New additions-took me a long time to find the Silver dapple mare that wasn't scratched/marked and even this one isn't perfect!

I have had the same problem, every one I find is scratched pretty badly so I am still waiting to add this model. Big congrats! The alpacas are surprisingly well done in my opinion.

Paige,its good to hear that someone else has had the same problem with this model,I thought it was just me!Yes,Alpacas are very well made models.

Congratulations Taylor! i think the grey horse is a very appealing model and it now seems clear why it is being so anonymous here. i think someone mentioned before about that problem with the model. Easy to conclude that this is a product with manufacturing issues.

Marvellos additions, I want the alpaca eating.

Yes, it is a very appealing model itself I think (though it doesn't really have dapples that you can see) but the paint seems to scratch very easily! I would like to get one sometime but so far no luck finding one is good enough condition (I don't mind scuffs, but when its brand new...). Taylor you weren't alone on this! I hope to find one soon.
