4. Schleich's Common leopard (Panthera pardus). I struggled a bit before choose which leopard will be better for my collection. The new 2019 CollectA leopard was my main option during a time, but more recently I returned to the older Schleich that I have seen for sale during the early begins of my collection but not bought it, and never found for sale again in local stores.
It have a nearly perfect sculpt, but the authomatic paintjob that Schleich gives to their models have some issues for such a complicated pattern as is the leopard skin.
So I took my brush and paintings and... voilá! It's one of the repaints I'm most proud of!!! I absolutely LOVE how it resulted! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
You've done an amazing job with the fur pattern of this leopard! I'm really impressed. I had exactly the same problem with you on which leopard to choose, I had issues with all available models including this one (that I can't stand its cartoonist face) and even the new collecta that I think the paintjob is messy.. Since I have no talent in repainting models, I ended up searching for the old 2007 Schleich leopard. There was a problem too. That model was for so many years in production that had several different paintjobs and some of them are not that good. Luckily, I discovered a very small toy shop in Athens that was stocking about 5-6 copies of this old figure and one of them was beautifully painted, especially in the eyes and face expression. I'm very happy with it now, it looks so good in dioramas too. Congrats again! |

| Thanks, spacelab! I'm glad that you find a good leopard for your collection! :) I tend to disagree, however, about the Schleich leopard having a cartoonish face. Well, maybe the eyes are a bit too elongated but it's almost unnoticeable. _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| Time of an updating! Recently I decided to make a purchase in Minizoo, the Australian online animal figurine shop. What made me buy here is the presence of the brand PNSO, that I don't know from any other great online shop, as well as a retired Mojo figurine that was in my wishlist, and they had only 1, so I must hurry. So as son as I was able, I bought the figures that I want. PNSO and Science & Nature are two brands previously unrepresented in my collection. A new brand of accurate models always is something that makes me happy. I was much less happy because, as in the only other occasion that I bought in MiniZoo, Customs charged me an extra of 26€ > > > > > > MiniZoo did a perfect job with shipping, I know it's not their fault, but I will never buy it again. I don't want to buy figures for the double of price that I paid! But coming back to the positive things, there are the figures: 1. Beluga ( Delphinapterus leucas), Hynnix the White Whale from PNSO. I like the idea that PNSO put names to their models, making them easier to remember and giving more personality. I fell in love with this beluga in the same instant that it was announced in the net. The promo pic is absolutely superb and shows the best beluga in the trade with no doubt. The real model have two minor differences with the promo pic: the vivid, heartouching painted eyes of the promo pic are just plain black in the real model, and the mold seam is much more noticeable. I reduced a bit the seam with a file, but left the eyes untouched. I think belugas have actually plain black eyes as far as I remember. Despite these two differences is still the best beluga in the trade. Overall, the musculature of the body is extremely well done, as well as the wrinkles of the skin (especially in the neck), and the bumpy crest in the midline of the back. Much more detailed than most belugas of big western brands. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The underside shows how amazingly detailed are the genital parts, and also shows that the underside of the flippers is painted grey, even dark grey. Is that realistic? I left it untouched. Should I paint them white? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hynnix is the same size than the Papo whale shark, making the shark a bit dwarf. I want to take this pic just because Bailey and Destiny, the beluga and whale shark of the public aquarium of Finding Dory, that unbelievably share the same water (and hence the same temperature). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A more properly companion for the beluga would be the bowhead whale, that shares the gelid waters of the Arctic. Of course, the CollectA bowhead whale must be a newborn calf when compared to an adult beluga [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2. Pronghorn ( Antilocapra americana) from Mojo Fun. This retired figure is one of the only two pronghorns done recently by western brands, the other being the Safari's. But Safari's pronghorn is oversized and have unaesthetical very divergent horns, as well as worst proportions and paintjob. So I wanted to find the Mojo one since long time ago but I only find too expensive ones. Here, MiniZoo had the last one for a cheap price! I'm sooo happy to have this figure sculpted originally by the famous and so talented Anna Dobrowolska :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Compared with other North American hoofstock, it fits well: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Pronghorns are the fastest animals in the Americas. They got their speed as an evolutionary trait that makes them able to escape from the North American cheetahs. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As most of you know, I'm a bit tricky and perfectionist with figures. So I customized quickly my pronghorn. You can see it have now more accurate facial marks and neck-chest bands, I also sharpened the horns, and painted the legs (much more white and turning black just in the hooves, instead turning gradually black all over the leg). Before: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]After: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3. Another PNSO figure, the red kangaroo ( Macropus rufus), Noce the Red Kangaroo. This is a figure previously unknown for me that I discovered just while making the purchase in MiniZoo. I saw the promo images, and told myself, finally a male red kangaroo! I'm sick of figures of red kangaroos with a baby in the pouch. Despite I've learned recently (in this forum) that female red kangaroos can be reddish in some populations, the idea of a reddish female is still so weird for me. I wanted a reddish MALE kangaroo and this one have a nice well developed scrotum. And oh oh the measurements are sooo nice! Is not enormous as are many figures of red kangaroos by western brands! OK the paintjob is a bit lazy but I can correct it easily. So here I have... A big disappointment Totally hidden in the promo pics, this kangaroo HAVE A JOEY IN THE POUCH and a scrotum at same time!!!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]At least is a more or less nice figure, here compared with my only other kangaroo: the Schleich quokka. Unlike the overgrown quokka and most of the red kangaroos of western brands, Noce have the perfect size! :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Once arrived to my collection, I went to the difficult task of turn it into a perfect kangaroo. Well, a perfect male kangaroo already exist, is the Southland Replicas one. Is as realistic as an alive kangaroo. But just one problem: it's really enormous. So I took the PNSO model and customized it. I cut the too long and bendy, pointy ears, making them shorter and rounder. I also noticed that while the left foot have five toes, the right foot have six! So I cut the most outdoor toe and shortened the fifth. Toes are too even, the outer ones are adequate but the central ones are too short. Probably, if one day I get an sculpting clay for mixing (kinda WePam) instead baking, I will add long claws to the central toes and also claws tin the fingers (the hands of the kangaroo are very flat, and small), and some more muscle in the arms. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But the most difficult part was cutting the joey, and overall, left an even surface and trying to make a fur texture in it - without tools for doing that! With a lot of patience I went cutting small stripes of surface with a cutter, until I finally got a passable texture :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]After that, it wen the paintjob work. Very nice and satisfying to do that. I tried to match the colours of the perfect Southlands model. Still, Noce have a very anthropomorphised expression, more likely a "general animal" than a kangaroo. Almost like an antelope. The eyes should be a bit higher and the lips a bit lower for get the perfect male red kangaroo expression that Southlands model get perfectly. Despite that, with the new paintjob the figure improved a lot. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]4. Another new brand for me: Science & Nature's wegde-tailed eagle ( Aquila audax). There are two wegdies in the market, the other being the Southland's. But it's landing on a undetachable Australian Brown Snake, and I don't want figures with such kind of "accesories". Besides that, the open wings have toooooo wide points of feathers (for safety reasons). So I went with S&N figure. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It's overall a good figure. Colours are very realistic, and it's well shaped. Maybe the worst thing are the tertial/scapular feathers forming a species of "ladder" over the tail. Too symmetric, too well arranged. Of course, the bill and claws are very thick-rounded for safety reasons. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Of course I also retouched a bit this one. I painted more accurately the feathering over the cere of the bill, corrected both eyes (the right one sligthly over the correct place, the left one slightly under the correct place), sharpened the bill and painted black on the bill. I also deleted the unaesthetical white rays that pretend to imitate the canyons of the back feathers. I left the feet untouched. Probably, once I get the correct modelling clay, I will turn the current claws into toe tips and add sharp curved claws with the paste. Before: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]After: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]5. Common warthog ( Phacochoerus africanus). The last of my PNSO's figures, Faraji the Warthog. There are a lot of warthog figurines from western brands, but I love especially the PNSO model. It have various features that made it better than other warthog figures in various senses: -It's not so oversized -It have a much more dynamic pose, trotting gently and with the tail upright as in a real warthog -It have much thinner legs, tusks, and tail, making it much more realistic -It have a deeply wrinkled skin However it also have some issues, and especially noticeable is the lack of detail in the sculpt. The joints and lines are always blurred or absent, such as in the lips, the lack of hair on the tail tuft (it's just a plain paddle), and overall in the hooves (not only badly differenciated from the legs, but also undivided in the middle). However, this issue is really minor compared with the forementioned improvements. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here compared with my other african pig. Faraji is not so overgrown as the other pigs in my collection! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Would Faraji reach the den before the cheetah can catch him? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The paintjob is not perfect. The pig is very brownish, and the eyes are just black dots painted out of place. I tried to correct both things making a bit greyer, as if it had a dirt bath, and correcting the eyes. Probably I should improve my own work with the grey. I find it a bit bad. I've also painted black the hooves and the tail tuft. Before: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]After: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]6. Platypus ( Ornithorhynchus anatinus) from Southland Replicas. Southlands are easily available in other pages and I only bought this because Minizoo is the shop that owns/produces Southlands, and hence the figures are cheaper here than in other pages. However, the figures turn into more expensive thanks to Customs Despite that, this is what I think is the most perfect figure of all these purchases. It's my second Southlands and I see that this brand put extreme care in the detail both in the sculpt and the paintjob. I think is better than Schleich, CollectA, Safari and Papo in many figures. And platypus is my most wished. It's the only of the many platypus in the trade that have a correct size for my collection. All the others are enormous. This tiny figure is extremely detailed, and includes for example the area of whitish fur that is just before the eyes. The claws of the feet are not so detailed for see the big difference between forelegs and hind legs, but in such a tiny feet would be almost impossible to sculpt that. Summarizing, I absolutely LOVE my new platypus! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here with other monotremate and at the moment my only other Southland figure: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ My collection:- (Details):

| Some additions from my favourite CollectA toy shop :) 1. The dugong ( Dugong dugon) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It's a masterpiece and the only well done dugong of western brands! Look at the amazing detail of the mouth underside! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Dugongs are often seen with a bunch of tropical reef fishes around them, many picking its skin like they do with turtles, groupers, etc. This one was cleaned exhaustively, so much that its skin is bright! The two poor butteflyfishes can't find nothing edible in the dugong... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Dugongs share the Australian and Indic Ocean water with leatherback turtles and I guess that these encounters are not rare. CollectA's dugong fits perfectly with Papo's leatherback: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]What leads us to: 2) The Galapagos giant tortoise ( Geochelone nigra). This and the Papo's leatherback are my only chelonians for now (other two wished are Japanese brands, more difficult to get). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It's represent the Pinta Island subspecies ( Geochelone nigra abindgoni), famous because its last individual, Solitary George, died few years ago so now this subspecies is extinct. The figure is wonderful, it have the perfect proportions for a giant tortoise (unlike many other giant tortoises from other brands), and also it captures perfectly the very particular expression typical of Galapagos giant tortoises: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now in Galapagos, these two famous endemic reptiles are enjoying a wild salad: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3. The Grevy's zebra ( Equus grevyi): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It have a perfect sculpt, perfect size and proportions. It shows the typical more longer face and the big rounded ears, the high mane and other traits that make it different from other zebras. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But it's a bit ugly painted. Certainly machine-painted (all copies have identical markings, and in the legs are visible the division between two parts of the process), so they could have a bit of improvement over the painting. In fact, I saw this model in the early begin of my collection, just when I bought the leopard seal and African wild ass in a stationery, the 4th and 5th figures of my collection. The same stationery had then the Grevy's but I've refused to buying it because the stripes on the butt. They're vertical instead horizontal! But now that I have acrylic paints, I can have this zebra in my collection. Sadly it needs repainting not only in the butt but also in almost the rest of the body and the face. But I will do soon! :) That zebra fits perfectly with my other equines. That's all that I have for now. I must be one of the few collectors without a domestic horse, but domestics are not my kind of stuff hehe [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Grevy's zebra is endemic of the Horn of Africa as are these other CollectA's: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]What leads me to... 4) the bongo ( Tragelaphus eurycerus), another tragelaphine and my second Tragelaphus with the mountain nyala seen above and below :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And now released in the Congo Basin jungle. I forgot to bring some neighbours but you know I have a lot in my collection, from okapi and mandrill to duikers and Goliath beetle, pygmy hippo, red river hog and Diana monkey... I could do a nice diorama of African jungle animals, and it's only matter of time that it will enrich with great apes [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Of course this also will be repainted, overall the face, for make more bongo-like. I've noticed at home that the legs also need a bit of retouch. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ My collection:- (Details):

| After a very long pause, I acquired my first figures since the pandemy started. I bought these Japanese figures via Brett, and he was very kind. His new source works as good as the older one. First is the Colorata "Raptors of the world" set. It have 5 big birds of prey, all of them with wings and legs that needs to be assembled. All have also bases and sticks for display them, but those that know me knows that I display figures without bases when possible. 1. First one is the Golden Eagle ( Aquila chrysaetos). The animal is soaring with the wings in a open-V shape, but the legs extended. The curvature of the wings is just magnific. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For size comparison with the Science & Nature (repainted) wedge-tailed eagle. Here the Colorata golden eagle also was slightly repainted, for example making lip commisures and painting the underside of wings. Wedgie is much bulkier than golden, but is not an important difference. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Also you can compare with the CollectA's Markhor as an animal that share the same habitat. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2. Then it comes the Steller's sea eagle ( Haliaeetus pelagicus), a species that cannot miss in a raptor set made by a Japanese brand. This is the heaviest member of the genus and the one with thicker bill. It's made in a landing position and with the bill open. Really superb model. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It comes with a salmon, supposedly the eagle is landing on a beached salmon for devoure it. The salmon is not bad, the head is very well shaped, but I cannot use it as a figure itself unless modifying it completely: one side have an eagle-foot shaped hole, for attachment, and the other side is flat (and without eye) for rest againts surface. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Maybe the Steller's sea eagle preys in other Japanese bird that allows a size comparison: the Takara Tomy's white crested ibis. The ibis is nesting and didn't saw the eagle approaching. Tough I would prefair that the eagle don't prey on an endangered species [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3. Maybe the most famous raptor of the world: the American bald eagle ( Haliaeetus albicilla). This figure is in a similar position than that of the golden eagle. Great for make it soar over your collections. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I've repainted the eyes (they had too much black rimmel around ) and repainted the throat white (it was yellow originally ), also with a cutter deleted the seam line of the bill. Here for size comparison with other North American raptor: the Safari LTD's California condor. A dwarf California condor or a very big bald eagle, but also again not a striking difference. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And we can make the eagle preying on small native mammals such as the ringtail: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]4. The secretarybird, Sagittarius serpentarius. The only raptor of the set that doesn't belong to Accipitridae family. It's a magnific figure in a very dynamic position, stepping over a snake that comes in the base. The feathers of the nape are cylindrical, not widened at tips, but we can live with it. The worst issue is that the figure doesn't stand in its own feet - it must be put against anything that make support. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This figure have a decent size, unlike the more famous supergiant model of CollectA. See with other animal of the same habitat, the CollectA's springbok, for comparison. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]5. And what is undoubtely the star of the set: the fabulous Harpy eagle ( Harpia harpyja) in a landing position, showing all its power. This species have the most powerful legs of all raptors. Somewhat needed for grasps monkeys and sloths quickly from branches in a dense jungle. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The harpy passes its time taking arboreal mammals and birds for itself or for its chicks. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Some dangerous encounter! Harpy wants to defend its newly hunted prey, but a jaguar is too much for fight! For size comparison (Schleich jaguar) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The harpy comes with a green iguana as base in the set, the bird is preying on the reptile. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The iguana itself is not bad. Once detached from base with a cutter, toes shaped with a cutter, crest shaped with a cutter, tail reshaped with a cutter, and repainted black bars on body, the iguana is so proud of itself that don't see the danger approaching! (Papo ocelot) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For size comparison with my only other lizard, also an iguana: Kaiyodo's Galapagos land iguana from Reptiles Lounge set. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Once finished the Raptor set, we still have more figures in the same package! 6. Continuing with Colorata, this time two little gems from the Reptile set. First is the Boa constrictor, one of the most perfect boids made in toy form (after seeing tons of anacondas by western brands all of which have exaggerated scales at least): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All my snakes for now. The small ones are homemade. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Watch your steps, stupid tapir! You almost kick me! (for size comparison, Mojo Fun lowland tapir) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]7. From the same set, the magnific Radiated tortoise ( Geochelone radiata): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For size comparison, with CollectA's Galapagos tortoise of the same genus. I would prefair the radiated tortoise was a bit smaller (and the boa too), but both are fine. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This is my first Madagascan animal! So I don't have any other Malagasy for compare with. But I hope I will have a fossa soon 8. Still more surprises in the hat. Here comes a masterpiece too: Kaiyodo's Alaskan king crab ( Paralithodes camtchaticus). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This is my first crustacean. I hope to get more crustaceans at same scale. It's very difficult to get crustaceans at same scale than big animals from western brands! Here all my arthropods (the insects are homemade): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For size comparison: with Colorata's bastard halibut... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]with the first figure of my collection: Safari LTD's leopard shark. I don't know if both species cohabit or the leopard shark always is in warmer waters than the crab. Anyway both are found at North West Pacific. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And with other cold water pal: ribbon seal (customized from Schleich seal): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]9. And finally I left to the end the best of the figures: the super perfect Ikimon/Kitan Club/Nature Techni Colour Japanese giant salamander ( Andrias japonicus) from the Salamander set. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ikimon/Kitan figures often do not have the brand sculpted into the belly, as most other brands does. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This is my first branded amphibian, and here with my only other amphibian, a homemade olm: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For size comparison, with Papo gharial: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ My collection:- (Details):

| These figures are already magnificent but since you present them in such a pleasant way, it is hard to resist to them. Comparisons are also perfect, I had no idea of their size, just as it happened with Adam, I thought they were smaller. I don’t know, all of them are really great but I think I like especially the secretary bird. |

| Your taste for size compatibility always makes your pictures very useful to me, even though I am way more tolerant than you are.
The secretary is a perfect alternative to the giant CollectA and I need these gorgeous radiated tortoise and giant salamander. I have always dreamt about seeing a giant salamander in a zoo or an aquarium.
I am happy to see that you are still active on forum my friend, now that I am trying to be more present too. _________________ Schleich 370 CollectA 76 Papo 61 Safari 24 Yujin 15 Southlands 12 Mojo 14 Maia&Borges 5 Bullyland 1 Recur 1 Homemade 3 Bootleg 1 Total 582

| Thanks everybody, I'm glad you like the new models, and I see that the raptors are the favourite of most of you. They're really nice models, tough I would prefair non-assembled figures I ve seen giant salamanders in three different zoos, but always is the Chinese species, way more popular in Europe than the Japanese one. I also saw a hellbender at Bronx zoo but inside a submerged hollow log, I only saw a patch of skin so take a decent photo was impossible Colorata figures (not only the ones shown, but all the brand in general) tend to be somewhat simplistic in textures, a thing noticeable in bird feathers, reptile scales and mammal fur. But sometimes this is better than an exaggerated texture, as many brands does with birds feathers. I'm realizing than most of times Ikimon/Kitan is better in realism and quality than Kaiyodo and Colorata and maybe even be the best brand of the world, Japanese or not! I already had some masterpieces from this brand and the salamander is as awsome as the others. Every wrinkle of the skin, the warts on the head, the eyes, musculature, body proportions... really I hardly could distinguish my photo from a photo of an alive giant salamander! The boa is good, but I guess it need a slight repaint :) _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| A new batch, acquired somewhat impulsively after an alarm about the brand of them, that may be not survive the crysis that the pandemy provocked. I wanted to have all my remaining wished Southland Replicas figures before they become unavailable in the net. 1. Dingo ( Canis dingo). The dog of controversial affinities that was bring by first conquers of Australia and became wild. The figure is really superb, the proportions of each part are really much better done than in many wild canids or domestic dogs from western brands. The pose is really magnific too, I love animals with a lifted leg as if they're walking slowly. However the fur is very plain, scarcely textured. Originally the figure have a white dot in each eye, supposedly representing the sun reflection, but I repainted the eyes so all reflections are only the natural ones. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This dingo is somewhat smaller than most western brand wild canids. Still the difference is not striking and works perfectly. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This scene was probably common during past centuries. Hey dog, get outta here! said the marsupial wolf, as she have a pup and became aggresive towards intruders. She don't know that more competitive dingos will substitute its whole species soon for became extinct forever! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2. The koala ( Phascolarctos cinereus). Being a too well known species it doesn't excite me so much, but anyway is a distinctive animal with unique appareance and very strange features, so I must have one. Western brands releasted countless koalas, but this one have the perfect size for me, while the others tend to be too big for my tastes. Also is absolutely well done and I love the pinkish spot in the lower mandible, a touch of realism on this model, as well as the black soles of the feet. The only flare is that (like other Southland models) it have very visible seams where arms join the body. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Oh no, Miss Wedgie will eat me and I'm very slow! No, don't worry Miss Koala - said the eagle - I'm not hungry, I just have eaten a whole roadkilled kangaroo! So I will let you alive. Oh thanks Miss Wedgie! Anyway you scare me so I will try to get out of here as quick as I can! Yes I understand - said the eagle with a bit of sadness -. Nobody can trust a predator I guess. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3. Lumholtz's tree kangaroo ( Dendrolagus lumholtzi), a super perfect addition for any obscure species lover! During long time this was the only tree kangaroo easily available by collectors, until Safari released another species last year. The blue eyes are lovely but I'm not very sure if they're realistic - do Lumholtz's have blue eyes? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]-Oh.... you again, Miss Wedgie? -Yes I know, but it's not for protagonism, it's just that my owner doesn't have much more Australian arboreal animals to choose for size comparison... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But being a kangaroo we also can compare it with a terrestrial cousin, the heavily customized red kangaroo from PNSO: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]4. Tiger quoll or spotted-tailed quoll ( Dasyurus maculatus). Quolls are favourite mammals for me and this rendition is perfect. (Slightly repainted, originally the chestnut upper parts was separated from the clear underparts by a striking yellowish band instead gradually, and same with the head). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Size comparison, it fits perfectly with the CollectA's devil. I will let any of you to think on the dialogue that these two are having. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]5. Finally, the eastern grey kangaroo ( Macropus giganteus). I like this figure, it's really well done and far superior than most kangaroos by western brands, but... I bought because I tought I could display it without the base, but it can't be sustained without the base. The center of gravity it's just too backwards. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And even worst, the figure doesn't stand straight, but inclined to a side. And sometimes it can fall unsuspectedly. So I will not include it in my collection. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sizewise fits absolutely perfectly with Noce the red kangaroo, so it's a shame that I can't display it in my shelves. Moreover, if I do that, the base make the grey kangaroo looks like too tall when compared with the free-standing red kangaroo. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And now all my kangaroos for size comparison: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ My collection:- (Details):
