04-12-2015 ~Karin's Newest Additions!~ [Trade with Tove and Abu drawing!]

I will post my newest animals here.

These are all from the last 3/4 weeks.

We start with these beauties. I got them from a flea market!
Schleich really old fox and hare and a newer hare.

These I bought from a store. Didn't had any warthogs in my collection.

The last one. An safari Monterry Bay aquarium Orca.
It has bite marks on all her fins o.0 (Probably chewed by a child or animal...)
I sanded the rough edges and it looks way better now.
Don't know mush about the Monterry Bay aquarium marine life by Safari.
I have the orca and the bottlenose dolphin. (Both are not in a good condition...)

The old hare is one of the most lovely models Schlkeich has made ( IMHO), and the others are great, too !!!  
I love it that you could fix the orca, he is beautyful and deserves it after a hard life with some orca-eating child

Congratulations, all fine figures. Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the most interesting marine mammals collections. You can see an almost complete list here - unfortunately only thresher is pictured but the page is under construction.

@Susanne: The old hare is indeed a wonderful model. He has so much more character than the thinner newer hare. I'm happy that I could do something to make her better. She has still some bite marks, but it isn't a big deal :)

You're welcome! The orca calf is retired, as are all of the whale and dolphin calves of the Monterey Bay Aquarium line and are hard to find. The only orca calf I've seen is this one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it's an older variation of it.

Got some new animals, I bought them from frana. And today I got the package

An old Schleich lioness and a Safari river otter.
I adore them both

And 3 kittens. When I opened the package, I saw the kitten on the box and his sad look and I was like: "Aaawh, don't be sad!" lol

This red kitten has his own bed, looks comfy.

My new Safari river otter and my AAA river otter together, I think they like each other

And here my new Schleich lioness with a cub I already had.
Looks like the lioness don't want to give the cub any attention.

@Anna:       The red kitten has a bit of a Persian face, they always look grumpy IMO

I love the kittens   Especially Grumpy  

Nice! The Schleich hares make a good pair. And I especially like the sad box cat. Not often does one see a cat sad while in contact with a cardboard box - they're usually an instant source of feline hilarity..

@Lea: Cats and boxes are a really fun combination, I totally agree!
(Give my cats a box and the go nuts haha.)
I think they wanted to have the 'stray kitten' look with that one.

My newest additions from the past 2 weeks.
I have bought some animals here from the Market Place. A very dangerous place for your wallet

4U had some stone/resin type animals. And I fell in love with these tiny chameleons.

And she had some cats. My eye immediately saw the black cat, she looks just like my princes Chii <3
The other two kittens are adorable, they all standing between my plastic model animals.
I don't collect stone/resin animals much, but when they stand on their own (no things with them like trees or big stones or such) I can make an exception. (I know the chameleons are on a stone, but that is just because they are so tiny they had to be on something I guess XD

Okay, enough chit chat, up with the next animals!

These two beauties I bought from 75senta75
I want all the old Schleich pure breed cats, and this is my first one!
The Schleich owl is standing in my forest area, that is growing and growing XD

I got a small gift from her, a blue Schleich parakeet. It is not my first one, I already have the blue and the green one. But the new blue parakeet (the one on the left) is made in Germany (if I am correct..) And is different than the one I already have.
I love him to bits and he is enjoying his stay with his new buddies <3
