New year and a old WL (2014) has been ordered and received today. 32 animals in total!
Before they stand days and days on my desk, I decided to photograph, place and post them now.
So I hope you guys like my photos, I still seek the best way to photograph my new animals.

First we start with a bovine animal, the Water buffalo from CollectA.
He is a big and robust animal, standing firm and proud. I really like him!

Male, female and young, I think more trios can be formed IMO with more animals.
Watusi family by CollectA. When I pulled the calf out of his bag, I was like: Aawww :3

Mountain Nyala from CollectA. Beautiful animal! But I have one doubt, the legs.
Mine looks really warped. Look at the photo below. Can anyone tell me if it is normal this way?

Pregnant mare from Mojo, sculpted by Anna. She is stunning!
When I unpacked her, I was careful with holding her belly, like there is a real foal in it XD
I'm very happy to finally have her in my stables

Papo Appaloosa foal. I have his mom, got her from Jonas.
Very playful pose, although this frolic foal wasn't able to stand still for a photo!

CollectA Walrus cow with calf. Such a cute couple and IMO the best Walrus out there!

Safari LTD Blue Hyacinth Macaw. Big bird, but that is the size for the Wings of the World birds.
Nothing fancy, just the nice deep blue color and the nice eyes and beak.

CollectA Brown bear. Big body, nice head. I like the pose.
I can see him stalking for fish near a riverbed.

CollectA  Australian Cattle Dog and Papo cassis dog. Both great models.
The cassis dog stole my heart with his sweet face and the ACD looks awesome with his pose.

Papo Baluga. Such a nice body and head, happy fella.
I really like him <3 Can't think of a better Beluga made by bigger brands.

CollectA Black backed Jackal. I think his legs are a bit high, but the overall figure is nice.

Papo baby Triceratops... Ehehe... A dino... I know XD
This one was so small that I could haggle him in my WL XD
(For the ones with question marks... I'm not allowed to collect Dinos from my BF XD)

Papo is indeed the best one, my fave <3 CollectA is to short on the legs.

Poor Nyala! You can fix the legs by heating them up with a hairdryer, bending back into place, and dunking in cold water. Unless you can return it for a new one from wherever you bought it from. CollectAs are very difficult to fix warped legs.

That's a fantastic group of modern figures!
Many under the same subject I collect so of course I love them.
Obviously, I am very happy that you acquired that pangolin, I can't prevent to show my happiness anytime a STS member gets one.
OK, because of you, now I think I'll add the CollectA anaconda in my wish list, I am even glad it is big. Remember that these water boas are very robuste and reach easily 5 metters long. Congratulations!

Congrats Karin, with these so many and so nice models.
Some of them I have, some not...but now. like Roger, after your photos,
I wil buy the CollectA Australian Cattle Dog, also two of the Border Collies (your favorite dogs) :)
And i`m happy that you like my repainted husky :)

Wow so many amazing models Papo cats are wicked and the Husky! Even the critter housecat is fantastic

I love also the pregnant Arabian mare. She is one I have not yet acquired.

The legs of the nyala aren't normal, I think a "hot water therapie" could be help here. 
I'm in love with the hyazinth macaw, the beluga and the hippo, I will buy these for sure!

If this won't help, maybe you can ask if you could get e new one for free.

I've noticed that a lot of the nyala models seem warped. Are these exceptions, or are they all like this? Right now, the legs, and the horns curving forward are the only things preventing me from buying it.

About the Mountain Nyala from CollectA. A few minutes ago I sent a comment to MPV, asking for help.
I hope I'm still on time to get help, because they mention right after getting the order to comment about damages.
Hope two days is still early XD

I have been looking for WA and on the Internet for other photos of the Nyala.
Came across this WA from Susanne: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]    
Seeing a normal Nyala, it looks like the base of the legs (shoulders?) are even slightly bent by mine.
I'm unable to fix the Nyala because of that. I can straighten the legs, with to much trouble >.<
But then I have a really weird warped Nyala Hope this isn't a reproduction fault!

Update Mountain Nyala CollectA.

A week or so ago, I mailed MPV about the weird standing Nyala I got in the package.
They asked if there where a cardboard between his legs when he came to me.
He had and after my respond, I didn't heard a few days from them.

Until today!!

I got a new, good standing Nyala! No costs, posted by mail.
I was very surprised but above all, very happy!!
Now I can enjoy a normal standing Nyala in my collection

I tried, but the thicker part of the legs are slightly bent too, so it is really, really hard to fix it. And it is getting annoying when I try and nothing really works XD Plus he can stand, only in a strange split way XD I don't want to ruin him and make him unstable and not able to stand He is special, in his own way. But I'm happy to have a normal looking one also, that is the reason why I ordered the Nyala in the first place, to have a beautiful animal in my collection :3

Long time no see, this topic gets a bit neglected...
It is been a long time, so I have no idea what I got in this time exactly.

Last week we where visiting my parents-in-law.
They went on a small getaway and found something for me in a second hand shop.
I was so surprised when I opened the bag. 3 Safari CollectA horses! ( )

They are in a played with condition, so I hope I can make them look better.
