What happened to your collection ????
My collection is at mom's house, but I can't travel there due to COVID restrictions. I haven't seen my collection since June. Also, I'm planning on going to grandma's house for the holidays, so I won't see my collection again until maybe may or june of 2021 .

Thanks, been adding to my collection on off since I was 5. My mom used to buy me schleich figures, so I have a good amount of those, but over time safari replaced schleich at the stores so I now have more of those.

Yes that's similar to me, I started young with Schleich collecting all animals, but have now switched to all brands and just dogs and canids!

That's interesting that we both started with Schleich. I also used to collect all types of animals, but I'm focusing mostly on primates and extinct mammals. There's just too many models to get them all.

I also started with Schleich as well as ELC and AAA. I did also have a number of Papo as my grandparents were big travelers and would always pick me up a couple of Papo when they went to Perpignan (France) As my grandfather was on the submarines during the Cold War he traveled almost across the world in search of Russian submarines

I agree, there are just too many and so I decided to focus on my favourite animal And your grandfather must have many interesting stories to tell! It seems that lots of people started with Schleich, and I also had a few AAA and ELC to start, they seemed to be much easier to find then

eBay is always a good place for AAA and ELC
My grandfather was only recently allowed to tell the family as when my grandfather went off he couldn't tell anyone where he was going, my grandmother had a good idea that it was to do with the navy and that is where they met, they got married a couple of months later, my grandmother was 18 and my grandfather 21

I agree, Ebay is great for lots of things and I check there regularly for AAA/ ELC dogs! Must have been even more of a great story if he had to wait so long to tell it!
