| Found this on Ebay-A Maine Anjou bull and calf by ERTL from 1995.I have a number of these models,horse and cattle breeds.This is the catalogue listing from 1997.It however doesn't have the dog breed series.I would to get some more of these,they are easier to find on Ebay in the US but the cost of post is terrible!! | Ertl focused heavily on diorama style displays and train sets, etc. Many of these animals are probably designed to be accessories for such things. But still neat :)
We need Ertl reviews on the Animal Toy Blog :-D |

| These are the exact two that I have! I got them as a kid, and I remember seeing others in the store (from Assortment I but not II, I think). I've always liked the dynamic pose of the bull. Ertl produced high quality animals. While the smooth finish is different from most current products, it fits well alongside the Breyer Stablemates models.
