| Mojo Fun has started revealing their 2020 figures. Facebook presented their new troodon today. I can try to show a photo later today if an official topic isnt started by then. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks kiki! I like the figure overall, the feathers on the front arms are well done. I'm glad Mojo is developing their pregistoric range. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | They showed a spinosaurus today (I'm at work so I cant post a photo). I love spinosaurids, my only complaint on this one is an established pattern would be a nicer paint scheme rather a flat purple coloration as shown on their facebook page. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Here is the picture. I am sorry Mojö Fun, I love your work and I appreciate a lot the effort with your last dinosaurs. Though, this one is defintely disapointing. These limbs, the expression not convincing. I explected a much better spino from you considering the loads of info about the animal we're receiving lately. |

| Hmmm... I can't see nothing bad in it. Well, the limbs may be not in the usual position adopted by the species, tough this is something that we can't know for sure. And of course the expression is absolutely impossible to know if it's accurate or not! Well, I can see only one small fail that is the shape of the lower mandible, but I think that this is a minor issue that most buyers of this figure will not notice (only the dino geeks ) _________________ My collection:- (Details):

| There are lots of really good Spinosaurus figures out now. There really isn't any reason to release more, let alone one this outdated. The sail is the wrong shape, the limb proportions are probably incorrect, and the head has sunken fenestrae where in life it would have had muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and other soft tissues. It's hard to be sure from only one angle, but I think the tail and torso proportions are likely incorrect as well. Mojo's Dunkleosteus turned out reasonably well, maybe they should make more prehistoric fishes. _________________ Where I try to find the best figure of every species: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=3390.0

| New giganatosaurus today. So far, I'm still most impressed by the troodon.
As a note on Spinosaurus, a lot of what "we know" is up in the air currently. Quadrapedel locomotion for me is least likely, and the recently popularized concept of this species for me is problematic because estimates were taken from a Frakenstein style monster (a conglomeration of bits from other Spinosaurids in order to make a complete biological model). I take issue with that. I think scientifically speaking we need more complete specimens before any more "science" is concluded. So I dont think judgments on any toy figure are fair either, as they base their figures on whatever the current science and Spinosaurus is one of the most mysterious even still. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | It's true that the 2014 reconstruction had some chimera problems. That can explain away objections to limb proportions, but it doesn't excuse the zombie face or the sail shape. The limb proportions are almost the least of its problems. Anyway I'm getting pretty bored with Spinosaurus and most other large theropods and wish companies would try out more species, maybe some known from more complete remains.
I agree that the Troodon Stenonychosaurus is the best of the Mojo reveals so far. _________________ Where I try to find the best figure of every species: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=3390.0

| Agreed! The sunken fenestra is a Jurassic Park hold out, this concept needs updating in Mojos dinosaur range. And the sail is perhaps the most complete portion of this species besides teeth, so it too needs correcting. I just mean that theres a lot of "facts" about this species that in my opinion are not factual due to *cough*cough* bad science. But again, as Pardofelis said most regular buyers will still enjoy the figure as it is. Maybe someday we will find out some of the mysteries here and can get a truly accurate figure in comparison to other common therapods.
I'd love to see more prehistoric fish from this brand, or even pleistocene mammals. New species especially are welcome to my shelves! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Mojö Fun wrote in its FB: "Production issues in last years Giganotosaurus prevented it from reaching its potential so this year we have completely remade the model in order to bring it up to the level of quality we wanted. Say hello to the NEW new MOJO Giganotosaurus! " |

| Oh wow, I'm quite impressed with this figure. The texture seems to me the most realistic of any chimp model I've seen. Interesting figure. Might have to add her to my troop. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | This figure has some appeal but surely not my personal collecting subject. Interesting the contrast of the dark skin of the mother when compared with the baby. Mojö has some very beautiful figures showing motherxbaby, namely the lemur and the honey badger. |
