| All by sudden spring was here !!! Just before easter it was still cold and grey, and then the warmest period ever measured in April has made everything almost explode in green and singing birds and happy , sunburned humans Almost overnight everything changed from winter to near-summer Here I enjoy watcing my critters and Nature waking up Fidda is up a crack of dawn to help Mom dig the garden [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Mummy and Futte go back to snooze a little till the sun gets warmer [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The forsythia blossom like mad, - so pretty, and such a short time this year [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The potted plants that have been hypernating indoors grow so fast on the terrace that you can almost see it, - soon they will be full of flowers ! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The horses eat and eat, even if they have a huge area, the grass is gnawed very short where they can reach it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Siggi finds that it is almost too hot, gasp, gasp ! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In the evening Fidda is SO tired. Here she sleeps with her new favourite toy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| All so beautiful However, Fidda, has my heart as I adore Salukis, Borzois, Afghan Hounds etc I have noticed a difference in my bunnies too. Mia, the smallest bunny, has dug a 1 foot hole in the garden ! and all the other bunnies have begun digging too. Luckily my mum is not bothered as the side garden is exclusively for my animals There's also a very large patch of dirt because they have eaten all of the grass right down to the roots ! Still plenty left to eat though |

| Very nice spring pictures Susanne! And nice to see all of your animals together. Here is is far over 20 degrees for more than a week already in the Netherlands, we even had 25 C for almost a week now, but today it has gone down to just under the 20 C mark, but in the weekend they say that the temperature is going up again. Very warm for april, normally we can have these temperatures in may, and then not even vey long, so i am happy for that, i just love the sun! |

| Thankyou dear friends Rio, take care those rabbits don`t dig themselves over to the other side of the earth Yes, Fidda is so beautyful, somtimes I stare at her and can`t believe that such a lovely creature is really my dog I had wished for a saluki for more than 35 years, and then, when finally a very serious kennel was planning pups, I thought : NOW OR NEVER It is a very special dog, one must never get angry or shout, just a "NO!" and she becomes a dachshound-little thing. Fortunately she is happy again very soon after But Siggi is the bodyguard and Futte (the whippet) is the policewoman, they are all wonderful. Willy, you must have Danish ancestors, - we can ALWAYS talk about the weather, - some say it is because "There is so much of it " Ohh, Harriet, I wished I could leave my critters for a couple of days and have dinner with your family in that wonderful garden of yours |

| Thank you for sharing the lovely photos Susanne! Isn't Spring wonderful? When I was younger I always thought I loved Autumn the best, but now I know it is SPRING! I love to see all the flowers and trees come to life again!
Our Forsythias bloomed back in March along with the daffodils. Now my iris are blooming and WOW! They are really impressive this year!
I love seeing all of your animals. They all look so beautiful and happy! :)

In the northern part of France, we use to say "it is sunny several time in a day" I guess, the weather in northern France is not very different either... We can have all kinds of weather in one day to, rain, snow, hail, ice-rain, wind, mist, cold, warm and sun to sometimes, haha... |

| According to the calendar it is still spring a few days , so here are two more pictures. There is too much grass, so the horses are not allowed in field round the lake. That means that I get more wild visitors. Look, can you see the doe ? In the lake is the wild duck with her 4 ducklings . There are usually wild ducklings at least 2 times each summer. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]These, on the contrary, visit the lake for the first time as far as I know. a pair of shelducks with no less than 9 ducklings [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The pictures are not very sharp, as I have to take them through the window, but hopefully you can see my precious, wild neigbours |

| Thankyou, friends Yes it is wonderful here in spring and summer. Even winter is ok with all the wild birds that come here because I feed them. Of course life would be easier if I had an offroader, but I spend all my money on plastic toys, - a question of priority |

Yes, that is to a town with a butcher and a baker ( and the little store where she has some CollectA) etc. Five minutes drive from here is a little village with a store that sells bread, milk, fruit and ---> chocolate A "real" city (Randers) is app 45 minutes from here. Århus, the next largest city of Denmark with app 300.000 inhabitants is 1 hour from here. Here is where I live : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I love to feed the birds in the winter!
Yesterday morning I opened the back door to let the dogs outside and right outside the fence, literally just feet away, stood a whitetail doe. She just looked at me I'm sure thinking "I'm going to eat your flowers as soon as you go back inside." I really don't like deer at all. Except for reindeer. :)
