| Aaarw, Kristie, - aren`t the deer lovely ? Anyway, I know you like these better I let Albina and Spotty out yeasterday. Only for 15 minutes to see if they still get ill from eating grass, it seems ok, today they may go out for 1/2 hour [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Thanks, friends ! Yes, isn`t it great ? I had them out for 45 minutes just now, it is such a joy to watch. I cross my fingers, esp for Spotty, the vet did not give him many chances ! You should see him ! The 3 mares come running when I call, so it is no problem to get them into the stable, - but not Spotty ! He trots round outside with high lifted tail and springs in the feet shouting " I am a Shire stallion and nobody`s fool !!!!" But then he hears the others munching carrots, and cant resist - Roger wrote:

Yes, it looks like Green land here SO green and lush !! But now I know, I need to give them some old and dry straw also to eat. All that green is poison for them, if they do not get some fibre also. You wouldn`t believe it, they LOVE the straw ( not even hay!), so it is obvious they nedd it for their digestion, - just like I couldn`t live fom only chocolate, I suppose |
