CollectA Dartmoore Ponies

Today I got the two Dartmoore ponies from CollectA, even if there is stamped Procon on their bellies  

Seen from the side they are really nice, - hmmm, but the legs seen from the front      

Here is an attempt of a "walk around", - nothing like people like Christophe can do, but hopefully you can get an impression :

Something about the neck is not quite right either

Now I have them, and even if they are not perfeck, I am very happy with them

Congrats Susanne ! I bought the dark version for a while and ponding till now should I get the golden brown version and by judging from the photos and a signal just sent over " On my list now.

I agree there is something odd about them but I can't tell what...

They look really nice from side view! But their necks are too long, legs too far apart and chubby. Still they are cute, congratulations Susanne

Ah, yes, Harriet, with your artist`s eay you can spot the flaws I could not specify, but yes, they are certtainly cute, - charming ?

Congratulations on your new additions! Initially I could not really see what you meant about their legs being funny-looking and all the rest, I thought they both looked very cute and quite nice, but then I scrolled down and saw the other pictures. They look BIZARRE! I suppose CollectA hadn't really got the hang of making horses yet. But seen from the side and sort of half-facing the camera they look pretty nice

Those are 2007 figures, only the second year of Procon, not the best time for them, anyway they are improoving! :)
Now are only missing you 2 dartmoor!

I have the chestnut and I named him Danny Boy
but now the dark bay is on my wish list for this Christmas! :)
I did not really want him because tgf does not have a very nice picture of him up well I guess you cant tell from online pictures.

Yes, you are right, Robert . If the shoulder was not so steep, the neck would start further back and not be so long. Also the lower part is too short, which makes the muscle on the front look funny

Here is a nice Dartmoore. He is so fat that it is hard to see the bone structure, but I have tried to mark it with white :

Hum... I don´t really like those necks. But even with those necks, I think they are sooo cuteee! I specially like the dark bay one :) Congrats!
