| Can anyone here give us any information about these five small-scale Schleich ponies? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Four white ponies. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Brown pony. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ponies with Schleich blacksmith to show scale. We bought them nearly 20 years ago from a bakery, where they were being sold as birthday-cake decorations. We intended to use them in a circus display, but they were packed away and forgotten until yesterday. They are all marked "Schleich" and "Germany." The brown pony is dated "92" but the white ones have no date. We can take better pics if needed, but not for a day or two. Thanks, Sue & Lesley castlerigg. |

| Wonderful you were able to find them again Sue and Lesley. I guess that is what happens when you have been collecting for so many years...some get boxed up and put away...A birthday cake decoration? It is so great to find out where these old figures were marketed. Now, Susanne ...you have some boxes put away too from what you told me. Maybe a couple of these horses are hidden away? Torben you are "the Wise One" of Schleich! All knowing! [I am certain you have a picture for that too] |

| Thanks, Torben!
We are "old women " (!!) and know something of the history of our childhood toys, the composition animals and Britains animals, but nothing about the history of Schleich.
What are Schleich Classics, exactly?
