| Beautiful! I especially love the bee in the apple blossom. Tulips and apples can't grow here sadly. |

| How lovely Two of my favorite flowers !!! Yhankyou for those beautyful pictures Here we will have to wait weeks before we can see them Or rather, exactly apple trees and most tulips can not grow here because of all the *beep* water voles When we moved here, we spend a small fortune planting fruit trees, but soon after they all stood ajar ! We could simply lift them up, because the roots were eaten , just as if a underground pencil sharpener had been at them |

| Well the UK needs more water voles, so could we borrow a few? _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Maybe about 30 years before my home was built it was a large pond, and it was probably a large pond for over 300 years prior. In archives there are photos of this pond however the specific archive does not allow me to show you these photos, but no matter. As the house was built on it, the drainage is horrendous and nobody prior to our families over the generations decided to sort it out, probably due to costs. So this year (hopefully) we can sort it out, and in the process re-design the whole garden. So this is a brief description of what the garden is going to look like once it is re-designed On the right hand side when looking down the garden is going to be the hedgerow, this hedge will be made up of small trees, shrub roses and a spindle which it is now but we will grow some more shrubs in there, which will be good for wildlife like berberis and firethorn. The lawn is going to be scrapped as a nice and tidy manicured one to a wildflower meadow with many different species for insects to pollinate, however the edges will be mowed so we can access the borders. At the back of the garden is going to be our miniature woodland. Species that currently reside there are cherry laurel (going to be scrapped) cypress hedging (also being scrapped), holly, hazel, ash, and elder. However by the ash tree grow 2 cypress which we will keep as it is a favoured nesting site for our resident prunella modularis, and the male enjoys singing there as he is doing now as I write this post. All the logs of the felled cypress and cherry laurel will be kept as a place for bugs to enjoy. In the far corner we have a box shrub that my mother dislikes but I said to her that it will be placed in the woodland area and she'll never notice it, she agreed. New species that we will grow in our woodland will include, gorse which provides nectar for insects and cover for birds, laburnum vossii which will take residence in the old box shrubs place, wild cherry and rowan. On the left hand side is another border that will sadly have to be ripped up to improve drainage however we'll save everything we can. As this border goes next to the garage we bought some clematis and honeysuckle to grow up the wall so we will re-plant them once work is finished. In addition to this we will also grow some variegated ivy to add an element of mystery and wildness. In the border there is currently a dead hydrangea which will be disposed of, and coneflowers, dahlias and lavender will take its place. And that is the plan _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis.
