| This is my new unmarked California quail that I got from eBay. Probably one of my favorite ever finds. My late grandparents lived in Reno, Nevada where quail would constantly come through their backyard. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Nice! I grew up in Phoenix where we had Gambel's quail. Now I live in Salt Lake City where we have California quail. I saw some on my long run last weekend and thought...we need more figures of quail! LOL
Looks like a resin or stonecast figure; maybe something originally sold in a gift shop or such |

| I also agree that quails should be made, as there are so many beautiful species _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. Looks like a resin or stonecast figure; maybe something originally sold in a gift shop or such I haven’t seen any quail yet in Prescott, though ironically my first dorm building was named “Quail Hall.” I haven’t seen any quail in Colorado, though I think there might be a species or two here. The figure is a plastic material similar to most China-marked animals. Though, WhiteLightningWolf/Kristen told me she got one from a gift shop years ago and recalls it being resin. I’d like to see some more quail figures, even though birds aren’t a collecting focus anymore. |
