Many thanks for these pictures! It is a joy to see the anteater and proboscis monkey already available. In this regard Schleich is unbeatable. Even in such an atypical year, Schleich is able of putting for sale their 2021 figures even before 2020 Christmas!
Just a little curiousity, the anteater seems to have a very contrasting painting contrarily to the monkey. I will get both as soon as possible.

I should add that there were also some of the new domestic animals, but I'm not familiar with them so I don't know which ones where new. The one I'm certain of is the bengal cat, but I forgot to take a picture of them... sorry

They actually look better than I thought they would, there are some nice details there and they seem mostly very well-painted! If you ever go back there I would love to see photos of the poodle and the jack russell terrier!

From what I can see the poodle looks really good, with a definite 'poodley' look! It might be the angle but I'm tempted to say it is even smaller than the already small ridgeback- but I can't be certain as the legs are covered! I am so excited to see close photos if you find the time later!!

I feel like I was one of the only few here to believe in Schleich 2021, now I see that I was right to be confident. Will probably buy the whole bunch.

I did not expect to take the anteater at all since I am still very satisfied with the old model, but I think I will even buy this one.

The llama seems perfectly sized to go with my Papo guanaco and Schleich alpacas (the former version was too small), the warthog is not better than the previous model but as good and will join the family, same thing for the penguin, whether it is a king or an emperor.

Unfortunately, the proboscis is larger than a gorilla female... I would have preferred a "mandrill-sized" proboscis but I'll make do with it...

A close-up of the fennec, the most controversial wildlife figure by far, would be appreciable too.

I will try to take pictures later. In my casi, I will stick to my previous plan: llama, penguin (as a kingg) and warthog to replace the huge Papo's.

My Mojo tamandua is huge too, it would probably fit better with it than the one I have.

That's non-sense. Papo is now making Schleich-sized figures and Schleich is now making Papo-sized figures so that collectors can't collect both brands I have always strongly believed that the logic behind that was partly to prevent people from buying competitors' figures...

The previous one was only 10.16 x 2.54 x 2.54 no way I gonna be able to pretend they are "husband and wife".

Moreover, it may be perfect with the tamandua but I have also a Brazilian tapir which is not so big...

You have all the "other" perfect models to do a comparison walkaround when you buy it. :p

The Papo anteater is 12,5 cm and the Safari Ltd one is 14cm. This was the "only interesting" Schleich 21 model for me but I think I will pass, it seems not as good as the two mentioned and I already have an anteater army.

Although i still don’t think I’m going to be getting any of these figures, I’m pleasantly surprised by how much better they look in real life than in promo photos. The only one that could be a possibility could be the llama, as the Safari llama is huge and the mojo llamas just do not seem right to me, but I am not sure about it.

Very nice to see the figures in real, and I will now add the fennec to my wishlist

Okayx well then,....another platypus for my platypus collection, the smiling manatee is quite good, the badger wis worse than one they already did, same withe the warthog. And for that fantasy stuff, same with the fennec and bengal cat for instance:
